Have fun with the imperial system 😁
Freedom units

I fkn hate our imperial system 😂 in kinesiology we only use metric and i wish i learned it as a kid, our country is so stupid in some ways lol
THE LORDS UNIT OF MEASURE
props to nik for driving all the way back to Canada to tell us about the subscription percantages...true dedication
Paula saw Alex terrible sitting in the middle of the forest wow so lucky
😂
*wrestling some crocodile 🐊
Nope, he was chillin with a gator, learning all the noises!
*Hell yeah brother!*
Hell yeah brother
Hell yea brother
Many welcomes and a yee haw, or whatnot. ✌️
Hell yeah brother
You're on the Cleetus McFarland UA-cam chann...... Wait a second..... 🤔
Man gassed up in Savannah, GA at midnight and didn't get strong arm robbed. Sounds like there were several miracles on this trip lol
As a fellow Floridian I can definitively say that the speed limit signs are really just speed suggestions 😂
The speed limit is the speed minimum if you’re cool
Unless you run into highway patrol 😢
But sheriffs will blast through those signs 😂
@@lgkninjaI bet you’re also one of those weirdos driving slow in the left lane 💀
As a floridian I agree. But I've been in new orleans for the past 2 months and they see red lights as a suggestion here lol. Its wild how many ppl just blow thru lights
There’s speed limits here? News to me 😂
The weird thing about America is you can drive on the Interstates through multiple states and see basically nothing. Other than the Northeast corridor our major cities are very spread out and the Interstates often don't go directly through them. I recently drove from Western NC to NYC and somehow managed to not pass through a single significant city on the way there. Just miles of nothing.
I wouldn't call it nothing. Interstates just dont go through the direct middle of shitloads of towns and cities with populations of 15-100k+. Nobody would want that.
Alot of interstates take you through cities, though typically driving through a city isn't the fastest route since you will typically run into traffic and slower speed limits. But there are alot of highways that will take you through the cities. I5 for example will take you from Vancouver BC to Tijuana, MX going through Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego on the way.
You think we're spread out? Canada is that times 1000.
A lot of farmland. That’s where food comes from.
Someone needs to get this man to a Buc-ee's
I'm in CO. Our first Buc-ees is five miles down I 25 From me. It has been in construction for months and finally they announced opening end of March. I can't wait
Is it just me or does nik just live in UA-cam? Like it feels like seeing you irl would glitch my mind 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I saw him at a few death metal shows in Toronto over the years.
Seeing people in the flesh you only know from a parasocial relationship is always a weird interaction.
Wherever he is in the states now, I'm sure some people in the local metal scene will have the same experience.
having seen him at like 5? shows over the last few years it was always a very weird experience but it was fun
Like seeing a teacher at the grocery store
@rexlupis no you didn't. Nik isn't real.
He is a collective hallucination that youtube made because Canada has no people just giant raccoons. moose, and Tim Hortons.
That's why counterparts lyrics are so depressing, as the song so nearly sang, "you'd also cry man if you were Canadian"
If Canada to Florida was a lack of civilization for this man, he needs to try driving across Nevada or some other South West stuff
Right! Hwy 50 through Nevada. Or even interior Canada and into Alaska.
You know he's a basement dweller by that comment.... Canada is what, like FOUR cities and a bunch of wilderness/frozen tundra and he's complaining about lack of. Civilization.... On THE EAST COAST!?!?
Or if you like endless farms, Nebraska/Kansas
I've done the cross country drive from LA to New England a few times. The second you get past Ontario it is just vast nothingness until Vegas. Then after Vegas, it's pretty much nothing until Denver. Then pretty much nothing Shaun until St. Louis. Then back to nothing until the tri-state.
@@PrelectXBL Yeah, I'm from near Denver and I've driven to California one way and all the way to Maryland the other. The scale of nothing the continental US has to offer is staggering, sometimes in a good way. Not to detract from other countries of course. I can't imagine driving across the Northwest Territories up north.
Glad my artwork made it also to the thumbnail haha😂🤘🏼
Too good not to
As someone who grew up in the west about 200 miles from the nearest big city, it's always entertaining to hear people's first realization as to how big and empty the US is.
way too damn big!
"did a deer fart or explode?" bro is out here asking the real questions fr
Paula most likely saw a Wendigo, those are mainly reported on the northeast of the country. I’m intrigued to what exactly it was she saw.
Now drive up to Seattle Washington... Also the speed limit thing no one in America drives the speed limit unless they are 90 years old. So if you want to fit in do at least 10mph over the speed limit
Up here around Portland OR if you're going the speed limit on the highway you're an active road hazard 😂😂
@@Mandingy24 lol I'm not but that's funny
I've lived there my whole life; PA is absolutely unhinged. It's fuckin awesome.
Right? If a couple of deer, a bear, and a skin walker are all they saw, they're doing well.
Hell yeah brother!
keystone state supreme
Ah yes the elusive pennsyltuckey area 😂
Nik is a great story teller.
Why do I get a feeling Nik rarely left Toronto... 😂
Gosh, moving back from middle of nowhere New Brunswick back to Quebec, in early March, was definitely an adventure a few years ago. Going though the middle of New Brunswick through logging unpaved road was something else... With a meowing cat on the back seat... Finding hotels or motel who accept cats can be interesting as well...
Glad you made it OK. Best of luck!
The best is Highway 1 between Brandon and Calgary. There’s like two cities in 1300 kilometres on the flattest and straightest highway you’ll ever see.
@@joshharrison9054 I once did Edmonton / Cold Lake for a job interview... There weren't many towns or gas stations along the way...
@@CatherineBriseboisCatWoods sounds like most of Saskatchewan lol
I am in South East NB, having moved from Eastern Ontario in 1996 :) love it here! Quebec is also a great province, and by far the best metal shows/audiences.
@@CatherineBriseboisCatWoods I am in Moncton, never been to the Chi. :)
Drove through Haines Pass, Yukon to Haines, Alaska one night. When we reached the boarder, it was like 2am and no one was there. All you had to do was stand in front of the camera and show your ID (This was before the requirement to have passports). The mind was blown, those were better times for sure.
nice you drove right thru my neck of the woods in Pennsylvania
Yep... I'm from NC and a large part of the country is just trees, random critters and a black void dotted with a few farms and Walmarts.
You should do more story telling time, I laughed my ass off😂😂 Glad you got there safe eventually. Greetings from Europe❤
Every time we yawn, do deaf people think we are screaming?
no
I live in Pennsylvania and hearing your experience driving through it is great and spot on.
I live in western Pennsylvania….it is a whole lot of woods haha.
My family did two road trips. One from Georgia to North Dakota, and abother from GeORGIA to Utah. Great times. I brought my guitar on both.
Welcome to the land of the Skunk Ape! Need a stream of you and Paula Sasquatching haha. Enjoy your new home and good luck to you both!
Congratz on escaping this hell world. Hope to join you soon!
So happy for your new adventure. I would love to learn more of why Orlando. Im an ex-Orlandian of 30 years (36yrold) and it took me 15 years to get out.
Welcome fellow Metal brother, we're glad to have you. 🤘
I'm in Florida a few times a year.
When I visit my family is not too
far from A Day To Remember.
I’m from Pennsylvania and everything you just said, accurate as fuck. I can’t stress that enough…
Same. At least we’re not Ohio.
PA is pretty fun. The weather changes a lot.
I've seen dozens of your videos but never subscribed. I'm just old and don't worry about that. I just subscribed. Welcome to America! Been to Canada once back in like 1994 and it was beautiful. Would love to visit again as an adult. Good luck in Florida. It's the Russia of the USA as far as internet vids go. Other than that...gators...rain...and a bunch of really cool beautiful stuff.
Welcome to Orlando! It’s a pretty fun place to live
Whattup Orlando!
Great story Nick. I live in South Florida near Fort Lauderdale and it takes me almost 5 hours just to drive to Georgia Florida is a lot bigger than it looks.
GrandmaMetal from the Fam here - welcome to the US! Wish you could I’ve dropped by on the way - so happy for you and Paula bro
Welcome to central Florida! I’m sure I’ll see you at The Conduit for metal shows. Drinks on me.
Next time you take a trip, check out the Love and Bee rest areas very nice gas station's
Welcome stateside man, hope you enjoy your time here
Welcome to the sunshine state and good luck in the summer. You will also see some of the best and also absolutely terrifying drivers in the rain down here.
All with their flashers on.
Interested to see how Nik and Alex Terrible feel about FL 6 to 8 months from now
@@tho_she_be_but_litl HOT! RAIN! HURRICANE!

@@tho_she_be_but_litl OMG I THINK I DID!!!
You and Paula had fun metal ride to America. Welcome to the states brother
Driving from where I live in East Texas to Denver, Colorado is around 14 hours. Add in a 1 year old, bathroom stops, exhaustion stops, and caffeine stops, it came out to about 17 hours. It was pitch black going through New Mexico into Colorado. I didn't even seem like I was surrounded by cities or nature. Just highway. On the way back through there during the daytime was insane. I could see all kinds of mountains and nature. I was amazed that I was in the same place.
Just did this same move but from Indiana but down in FL now too!
Welcome to the states bro!
Canada’s gonna miss you Nik❤️
So interesting hearing you talk about that long ass drive. I recently moved from California to New York with my fiance. It took like 49hrs ☠️ but it was fun over the course of 9 days.
We drove Orlando to New Brunswick, Canada when my husband moved here. I believe we split it into 3 days, it was 11 years ago now, but it was a once in a lifetime experience for sure. 😅
W00t Canada just got better! We stand on guard for theeeee!
literally did the same drive basically not too long ago. Went to PA for a funeral and then joined my family on vacation in Panama City. It's all mountains for a while and those are the worst drives.
plus we actually live in Georgia and travel to Savannah often for wok (wedding photography/video) I-16 isn't that great
I have to imagine a lot of Canada is rural & dark too. But maybe you've never traveled much outside of Toronto? But yeah, your observations on the US are spot on.
Ya'll made it just in time for the Machine Head and Orbit Culture show in Orlando on Thursday. Yall should go
Had to have been rt. 19 through PA.
Good story bro. Welcome 🎉
Pensilvania is where Motionless In White live. So, technically dracula, correct
glad to have you here!
Ayyyy that welcome to Florida sign is just an hour north of my area! So that means Nik and Paula definitely went through and that's just dope 😂
as a PA native & resident, the entire southern/western part of the state is basically mass blobs of forests with gaps big enough for towns & suburbs, the only "city" is like New Chester & Harrisburg, fr rough out here
We have a ton of cryptids in the eastern US. Could have been mothman, jersey devil, skunk ape, flatwoods monster, beast of bladenboro, loveland frogmen, Michigan dogman, Dover demon, Rougarou, Tennessee Wildman, the snallygaster, and more.
I drove from southern Wisconsin to southern Texas non stop. Almost died when the Texas highways were loopy as fuck, high in the air and also 75 mph limit
Some are 85🎉
When I drive from St.Louis to Orlando, about half the driving time is in Florida. It’s such a long state.
Tennessee is so boring of a drive
You and Alex could hang out more now
Nik the American UA-cam, Twitch and Metal legend😤
bro i drove from GA to Vancouver for a move. Those long drives are no joke
Dude drove through Silent Hill at 2am completely oblivious.
Driving through PA should give you an idea of why ABR writes such good music 😂
No one‘s ever at Niagara Falls. It’s kind of nice near the Falls and everything but that once you get a couple blocks away for the Falls and instantly turns into a bagdad burnt out, boarded up buildings everywhere there might be a store here there, but there’s surroundings of the stores are all fucking crack out is Niagara Falls New York from not a pretty place, it’s some good shows I come through there every now and then though
Watched this on my break at work, and when I got back, my brain was confused for a moment as to "why is my coworker still doing the same thing as when I left"... until I realized I was only gone for, like, 20min. Not several hours...
Shows what a good storyteller you are 😂
Nik does this mean now you will attend shows here in Florida and we can get to see you?
Best story ever
Bro I drive from CALI to PA fucking worst experience of my life and you’re totally right about how it randomly goes in and out from city to absolutely nothing for hours on end
I wouldn't have picked Florida but congrats on the move. As a Canadian looking to make a similar move eventually, what Visa did you end up applying for? TN?
As an immigration attorney I was curious about that too. TN is always good. Love an H1B but for the lottery. National Interest Waivers are my jam though.
Pittsburgh (no intro) is in Pennsylvania
dang, caleb gettin into transitions
Ah lawd, not even our northern border secure 😪
7:12 if youre wondering if america is haunted, the entire country was built on top of native american burial grounds.
Especially Florida
tbf so was canada. and basically the entire western hemisphere
@ShadowFlame420 yeah but we were meaner. So that makes the ghosts angrier so there
What made you decide to move to the irl garry's mod server?
6:47 Thats PA for ya
Canada to Florida is such a big change.
In USA highway means big long road. Interstate is highway.
As a Texan/American..Welcome sir! We love you. We love Canadians. Have you heard of Jimi Hendrix (joke)? I request a solo that embraces both the Canadian and US national anthems.
As an atlantian, I hope you guys had a great time with atlanta Traffic haha, and can confirm, I-16 going to savanah and I-95 are just empty nothingness so I can see what you meant.
If you're in Florida, I know there are a couple of very big fans with me here up on the panhandle who have some very American hardware that we would love to have you out to sample.
Oh bro. Texas alone is at least a 24 hour drive north to south. Texas is a rough drive
What song is that in the background
Welcome to Florida! Fantastic metal scene here. See ya in the pit :)
You’d fit in with the Adams family 😅 Florida sun should do you good. I’m ready to watch this transition.
She saw a dang samsquatch
My family once did a moving trip like that…. But across the x axis instead…..
Yesss my joke made it in at the end of the video 😂😂 15:03
Welcome to America bro. Glad you’re an American ❤️🤍💙🤘🏽
OMG you still with Paula, lucky dog!
whats the song playing at the end?
All the songs playing are Nik's side project, Deathphonk
Now that you live in Florida, if you don't go to Rockville in May in Daytona Beach, we will all be disappointed.
Gobless.
Welcome home 😎
I drive for a living.
It's always nice doing road trips because I just treat it like a regular day in the office.... 🤷
welcome to the fuckin show
Yoooo welcome to Florida brother. Enjoy the freedom. Make sure you zig zag when being chased by alligators
I've driven from Michigan to Florida to visit my dad. The Virginia's are the worst. Never stop around there lol
Dogman. Definitely saw dogman in PA.
