This goes to show that you don't have to make radical changes to your character designs to keep them looking badass ( I am looking at you Mortal Kombat).
I like his new design plenty, but I think you're right. The Holy Order uniform + his overhead stance making him look so aggressive and ready to leap into action is more what I like from him than the laid-back vibe he has now.
