Not the sharpest marble in the bag. For a limited system, I'm sure it's better than nothing. However, I cringe at the thought of how the conversation sounds when a customer is asking question about how this works and what components to purchase and install. Sooo much questionable information coming from this one. SMH
Great video man! One thing though, at 12:36 you say Radar jammers are illegal. That is correct, but the K40 is a lidar diffuse/radar detector not a radar jammer unless I’m mistaken.
@@acidynamix for sure. I bought a vehicle with a k40 installed. How hard/expensive is it to remove and install onto another vehicle? A video on best practices would be great 🤓
@@acidynamix can I mount my front radar on my k40 radar behind front lincense plate? I got the one with the two led lights I had it for 6 years it can’t loose going down the highway?
It's barely better than nothing thing. ?[K-4] is the most of overatede ecm. The new king is the Uniden R9. A year ago should have been installing ALPI's.
Sad to install a poor performing laser jammer system on such a nice car :(. ALP or Uniden R9 system are the only two that should be considered for a car like this
Why aren’t you installing Uniden R9s and ALP systems? The K40 radar detectors have been proven to be inferior to your average Uniden or Escort or Valentine radar. Further, the jammers have been shown to be useless against newer lidar guns, such as Truspeed and DragonEye
Uniden r9 is the best for laser and radar protection installed in one. ALP is the best for standalone laser protection. If you just need a radar detector, I love the combo of a Uniden R7 and Waze
See, I say that things like laser and radar jammers/detectors and license plate hiders aren't "illegal" to have on your car BUT they're "illegal" to use on public roads. I always say "it's not illegal 'til you get caught!" 😄
Hope you guys enjoyed!!

I just got through saying the same thing. I guess it doesn't matter what product it is as long as coil install.

Fire!
Interesting. I don't think the front jammers would be possible to mount on my GT3 Cup. There's no vents to secure it onto unfortunately.
You need a k40 for a track car?
@@acidynamix Oddly enough, I almost daily it LOL. & just got it back from a 30 day impound in Malibu.
How much is for the entire set up ?
It all depends on the set up you would want to run as they are configured in many ways..
@@acidynamix ballpark?
