This video covers how we built a highly scalable headless WordPress CMS blog architecture on our main domain under the path codedamn.com/news with Next.js + WordPress. Hopefully this would be helpful for developers looking to build a similar architecture. Tools used: 1. WordPress 2. Next.js 3. WP GraphQL plugin 4. Co Author Plus plugin 5. On demand revalidation of SSG pages on Next.js ⚛ Do you want to become a full-stack web developer? Check out codedamn's full-stack learning path: cdm.sh/fullstack
I need exactly this for my company! Is there any chance for a full setup tutorial using reusable boilerplate page template HTML/CSS structure for the blog post pages with CMS management of the post assets per page?
I watch this video till the end! Nice architecture. Very creative also. We can have best features of both the static and dynamic content. Liked the highly scalable architecture.
I just recently found out this architecture. This will be a game changer for my organisation. Thanks to my thoughts, I was thinking about webhooks and wordpress rest api and suddenly it popped up in head that this really is the cheapest way to host a website with cms which is also scalable and the DX is amaizing with next.js.
Hi Mehul, Can you please make a video on AWS developer account setup with no / less billing for practice purpose. This help lot of developers to explore various features of AWS. (Or any other cloud) . I Know we can host app in free like vercel / netlify. But if one want to explore cloud then that video might help a lot.
@@pali122 it’s perfectly find to use local environment but if you want it on the cloud for others to access and use, then that’s where it’s bit complicated and requires backend knowledge esp with configuring what database you’re gonna use, the Linux server and Docker. There’s Digital Ocean and a few others offering easier solutions but it can get pricey.
I created a website with Gatsby and wordpress. After wondering how I would host it, I found this. Thanks you so much. However isn't it possible to host the wordpress CMS without the wordpress site that comes with it?
Hi. This is a good tutorial, I´m through a problem on Hostinger. I downloaded wordpress on my subdomain and my main domain is pointing to vercel. But hostinger is not allowing me to manage my wordpress because DNS nameservers arre not pointing to hostinger. How can i fix this issue?
I think if you want to integrate Wordpress in React, Frontity is best. I created a React + Wordpress website and believe me, It's incredible, the speed of page lazy loading and everything.

Great video. Awesome combo.
I like wordpress editing experience but hate everything else about it, so this might be best of both worlds.
it would be more helpful if you have shown step by step how to setup one example blog, thanks for this
+1
You guyz using the Ghost cms as per video on Traversy media channel, why shift to wordpress?

Have you tried Strapi instead of WP for headless CMS?
was wondering the same thing
@@pali122 Strapi is so much better than WP for headless and it’s what I use but hosting it is the problem as it’s bit complicated.
@@paulsalele3844 I've tried it with some local projects and is quite nice. why it's so hard to host compared to that?

But how to edit blog content from next.js which is in html
what wordpress plugins with settings and nextjs + vercel configs/settings.could you share that please. Also, wordpress's aws infrastructure?
Why not use Node.js as the backend? And why not just use WordPress for both frontend and backend, as we did in the past before Next.js became popular?

I have a question sir - Why didn't u guys make your in-house blog instead of relying on wordpress ?
The answer is DRY: Don't Repeat Yourself
I use notion as a cms for my blog but sadly it doesn't have any web hook for on demand revalidation
so still on normal revalidation
Very good content!
