Suddenly I realize how impulsive my decision making has always been. Thank you !

As usual, the content is impressive, and the pace and style of delivery is perfect. Thanks to these videos, I'm becoming convert to the 'zsoltarian' method of doing screencasts! And they look great.

As always a very inspiring and beautiful explanation of a very important topic : how to make decision...
Inspired from Annie Duke and her insightfull books "thinking in bets" and "how to decide" ? 😊

Thanks. I am glad you liked it! The insight about thinking in bets indeed comes from poker, but based on Maria Konnikova's work not Annie Duke's. The introspective aspect I took from Annie Murphy Paul.

Thank you. This is very useful. I like flowcharts and your discussion adds an important extra dimension of capability. I think adding a link from a complex concept to a mindmap breaking it down into its base components would help to identify all the decision paths leading away from that concept.

Exactly my vision with Excalidraw. Create a concept map > Brainstorm actions / dilemmas for relevant sub-concepts on the concept map, then build flowcharts to plot decisions and capture supporting details in diagrams linked to actions on the flowchart. Linking visuals to visuals to visuals... just like hyperlinking text to text to text. The opportunities are endless!

@@VisualPKM This is great. Finding this workflow to be very powerful. I wonder, is there any way to get Excalidraw to visually distinguish links to other drawings versus links to pages?

@@chaecramb Never thought of that. What would be your usecase?

@@VisualPKM The semantics of when I link an element to a note versus a drawing are quite different.
Usually when I link an element to a note it's because that note provide further textual elaboration/detail/definition/thoughts on that element. Whereas when I link to another drawing, it usually drilling down another layer of the mind map. It would be nice to have an immediate visual cue, even just a different color, when I'm scanning an old mind map so I can see what links to a drawing versus a note without having to hover over everything.

Not just useful but esthetic. I wish my life was as crisp and colourful as a Manga drawing...

There is a step for me before searching for a new job in my city .. Am I happy in my current job and satisfied with the work environment? .. if yes then I'd stick with it even with better offers being on my radar.

It is strange about zsolt.blog. I've already heard this from others as well, but I can't seem to do anything about it. I checked the certificate and it is up to date. Also I am unable to reproduce the error from any of my devices, even new devices that I just bought (i.e. for sure and old certificate is not cached). I am lost on ideas what to do...

The error is coming from their devices that have old Operating systems. I has a phone with android 4.4.4 version which is so old, now we are on android 13 and 14, and therefore the version of the chrome browser that is installed is outdated, thus it keeps showing a warning on most websites that I visit even though I don't see these on my new phone, so it's probably because the browser thinks it may be exploitable from these modern sites.
