- Hey, y'all! I saw that the American boyband PRETTYMUCH would be on TRL this week and thought I'd check them out...and film it while I was at it. I watched their MV and Dance Visual for their debut single Would You Mind. It was NOT at all what I was expecting, but I'm glad that I gave them a chance and look forward to what they put out in the future. What did you think of the two MVs? Were they good, bad, or just meh? I'd love to hear in the comments below!

As soon as they started harmonizing I fell in love, that's what I look for in western boy groups, they also have the 90's aura and I love it, it reminds me of Nsync and Backstreet boys.

I think they're very good to be a rookie group as someone who's obsessed in American and Korean groups I can tell they have alot of potential

Tall half-black kid with short blond dreads is Zion Kuwonu. Born in 1999... I fell old(bc I'm a '92 liner) His Dad is African just not sure which country. It doesn't sound Nigerian to me so would guess Zimbabwe.

He said his dad is west African so I don’t think it’s Zimbabwe. Ivory Coast could be correct. He never specified which country in a interview though so your guess is as good as mine lol

Watching this made me so happy because I went through all the same emotions when I watched the mv for the first time
They just released a song called open arms and if you really want to hear the potential of their vocals, that is the song to listen to! Also Nick Mara was apart of a dance crew when he was younger, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he choreographed a lot of this, but they’re all amazing dancers so it could’ve been collaborative. This group has quickly become one of my favorites, and they only have 3 songs lol I don’t listen to that much KPop, but I love the choreography involved and can appreciate the artistry that goes into it. I see that same potential for amazing art from PRETTYMUCH.

Being a Kpop fan for two years now, my standards were really high for what a boy band should be and honestly I went in watching my first PRETTYMUCH video with a closed mind but once I realized the talent they have and how they include dance in their performances I was swept away and honestly there is no going back...I’m so glad I’ve entered the fandom and am so glad Simon formed a group of talented individuals who each bring so much to the group

I did, and it was a really good performance, especially for rookies! I want to see them do a fully choreographed routine in the near future, but it was still nice to see good performers just have fun and play to the crowd. With full choreo, they'll be unshakable!
It can be hard to choreograph the whole song bc they could run out of breathe so that is why they don’t choreograph the whole song bc then that is when things start sounding flat
