Hi Judith, I found that putting a layer of black between each color, and also very strictly sticking to the pigment-paint-pigment-paint system (1 layer each) prevented any brown. There are places where the shimmery pigments mixed when I blew it out, but they're a purpley-gray color. That I can live with!

I really don't know... Liquitex PM is recommended for Piggys so I don't know unless you're using a matte PM? Is it still faded when dry?
How can you avoid brown and dominant lavender ? My colors like to mix and lose their shapes.
