Much appreciated - saved me wrecking anything while dismantling in cold weather, when plastic parts might be brittle. My problem was a driver's door stuck in the locked position. Having removed the armrest I was able to do jiggery pokery with coat hangar wire, via the aperture sealed off by plastic sheet, which caused the lock to release. Only then was it possible to remove the door card completely for a better look at the situation. [For info, with a closed door one cannot get any purchase to free the poppers around the periphery of the door card]

Did you find answer for this? Have the same situation here in Finland.. Also the door doesn't open from the outside anymore so trying to get it solved too.

Hi followed your videos so helpful to replace wing mirror on his xtrail as some youths intentionally smashed it off as he was driving however the bigger of the two connectors in the automatic window control panel got stuck and the wires came out. Now we don’t know which wire goes in which hole and there is 15/16 of them and don’t want to blow fuses any ideas?thank you so much
I have wiring diagrams somewhere and can look. I can't take a photo of mine a I have leant it to my brother for 2 weeks and an driving a Nissan Leaf !.

Hello, how do I get to the outside door once I take the interior panel off? The handle can be removed once the panel is off, but where do I find the spot where it opens? Thanks
Do you know of a way to lift the window if the motor is cooked?
Sorry, no. Some windows use wires, others are direct drive, but I don't know which this is. If you unmount the motor you can lift the window by hand and brace it with some wood until you get a new motor
