You helped me make a big decision after thinking to get back to NEET after doing BA psychology for 3 years .. Thank you so much Sir . I will better do the MBA.
I am a doctor. And I can resonate with every word. In 12th, always wanted to do something huge for which I did MBBS. But when I signed up for this, I had no idea what did I signed up for. When I came across reality of MBBS and life at the same time, it became so tough for me to handle. I fell down, got severely bruised. Started suffering from anxiety. Still am. But now that I know, I am going to try to work this out. My advice to you all, please don't believe the lie - MBBS kar lo, life set hai. You have to put heart and blood and sweat to make this work.
I left mbbs, doing other business, earning good than a doctor, nowadays doing mbbs just waste of time.take care of you,I hope you good with your anxiety.have a good day
Thank you for portraying the true reality of the medical field! Most students who are working so hard to clear Neet UG don't even know what they are signing up for. I hope more and more students see this video and take an informed decision with regard to their future career as a Doctor.

Hello dear I'm Dr Ujjwal senior paediatrician You rightly mentioned about so many things It's very dificult for 11 th class students to select a right subject for future Before understanding a subject we must understand our selves What kind of person/ personality we are and choose subject accordingly with one intention only that whatever we will do , we will give our best And very simple formula for everything in life is START EARLY Best wishes for everyone
I am going to join medical college for pursuing MBBS this year.♥️ I also suddenly came to know about this harsh reality of medical field during preparation for NEET 2021 at class 12 & at that time I was getting B.Tech in CSE at NITs. I even Started to think about leaving NEET & going for B.Tech & my friends also suggested me about this. But even knowing about this much difficulties, at the end I chose medical field as it was my passion & dream to become a doctor since childhood & I am going to fulfill my dream♥️😇

Sir whatever you said it 100 percent true. I was really shockes listen about a resident's life , where they can't sleep or bath regularly or have a good meal most of the time. But we must try to see the positives and that is what keeps us happy and motivated . Every field has its own pros and cons.

From a very young age, my relative (mom's elder sister) had planted this seed of MBBS in my head. Without knowing anything I used to say I want become a doctor. But when I was in 9th std, I realised I was always wrong about my view on MBBS and dropped the idea. Once we all were sitting together and she asked me about my biology classes and my "future" plan, I told her no I don't want to. She was really upset and was saying it's just the age and all but thank god my cousin brothers (her sons) rescued me. Now I am in 12th but again opted for pcbm, confused about my future. She just wanted me to become a doctor because literally none of my cousins did medicine even her sons, also for the prestige... 🤦🏻♀️ Sorry for the long paragraph 😅
It was kind of the opposite for me. I was high when I took the decision to choose Biology in 11th. I had no interest in Medical. Now I’m in 3rd year and I fucking love how mentally stimulating this field is. Yes, the work hours are long and it’s stressful but I’m not aiming for money or status. I just want the intellectual stimulation it provides.
Hey can u tell me about the pressure in mbbs? I'm confused between medical and engineering....I like both maths and bio ... I don't know what to choose... I even don't have passion for either medical field or engineering...but I have to settle my mind in one of them... My parents teacher have suggested me about medical...I was about to start preparing but then this stories of pressure is making me stressed... My question is, is it really impossible for me to study in medical?? as i don't have passion but I think the work is satisfactory enough...
@@rhitimondal9437 I was in a similar situation and I took Maths and Bio (PCMB) in 11th. I realised that I couldn’t manage Maths and Physics together so I dropped Maths and went ahead with Bio. I had no passion for medical in the beginning, once you get into the field stuff will really excite you. It’s challenging but extremely rewarding. Ask your seniors and people who live the life you want to live. Cheers.

What a wonderful video darshan sir. This 12 min video actually gives me a good reminder what I have to do in my life . Thanks a lot sir and hat's off to u and all doctors .❤😊🙏🏻💪
As a medical intern in India .i can vouch for him .the last 6.5 years were gruelling and torturing to say the least . In addition to the neet ,next exams , the university theory exams and practicals every year r also really nerve wrecking . I would not recommend this type of life for anyone.a life with no sleep,no meals ,no bath ,no leisure time. Since I have already invested so many years into it ,i have no other choice but to continue in this line of path . But i will never ever want my kids to go into this medical field ever. I'm not saying that it's a bad profession but in India the overworking, underpaying culture and violence against doctors kills our spirit. It takes out of the goodness of the whole profession. The people who treat you probably haven't slept for 3 days , haven't eaten a proper meal in 3 days and haven't seen their families for months .And when they sacrifice all that ,the only thing they receive is physical and verbal abuse for delaying the treatment of the fever patient when apparently he prioritised a stroke or heart attack patient over him. I feel so bad for all those doctors who sacrifice their whole life for this and yet receive so little in return I'm sorry if this feels discouraging to medical aspirants but this is the harsh reality kids.
Can you tell more about it mam? Actually I am in 12th grade, idk whats wrong with me but I am not able to decide whether I really want to go into this field, And so, My neet prep is not going good because I am having these thoughts in between that do I really wanna do this and devote these many years to it?? I want to become a doctor partially because it has job security, Partially because a lot of my friends are going for it. Idk if "I" wanna do it. Pls help me and can I contact you in insta or any place? I need guidance
@@howtfdoihave115subs7 I cannot make a decision for u . But if u don't really have a strong desire to serve patients ,i recommend not going for it ,because u may regret it later. But please make sure your parents know about your decision whatever it is and also make sure u have a better plan . Job security should not be your sole motive .because getting an mbbs doesn't guarantee you a job . Also it's not just a few years you invest for it. You need to invest the rest of your life to it.a doctor is said to be a student for life. The whole mbbs course is 4 and 1/2 years with additional 1 year of compulsory internship in hospital . That is if you get in straight after 12th .else one year of prepration for neet makes it 6 and 1/2 years just for an MBBS degree. Within this time you will witness your friends start and complete their respective ug and pg degrees.and earn more than 1 lakh per month .meanwhile you're still jobless and without a ug degree. In India as of now mbbs doctors doesn't have much prospects other than just being a general practitioner (gp) which is not the most Satisfying or high paying job . Most of mbbs graduates go on to study for pg entrance (Next).this exam can be attempted during the end of your internship year if you fulfill the criteria or you will have to wait a year for it . The neet pg / next exam is 1000x more competitive than the neet UG exam you are facing. Because in your neet UG atleast 60% of the kids write the exam because of parental pressure or are totally unprepared for it . But in case of neet pg exams.its all mbbs doctors who are writing it and have prepared very well for it. The mbbs life is not all bad.if you look at the pros. If you do get an admission in a gov medical College ,it's very less fees . Gov colleges tend to be very free and you can enjoy your college life just like any other degree/ engineering colleges .there are fests , intercollege and intracollege competitions, dj parties, college trips and tours .you can completely enjoy your college life in most of the gov medical colleges.i'm not very sure about how private colleges are . The subjects we learn are very interesting and the practical aspect of it makes it very much easier to learn. We learn by doing ,hearing and seeing rather than merely from textbooks alone. It's a very beautiful method of learning.our curriculum is well organised so that we learn the basic things in the first 2 years before we get on to the higher level stuff. It's never boring to learn medicine.every subject is interesting in its own way and the clinicals postings where we visit patients in the hospital are very fun and educative . The exams are a bit hard and can be a bit hectic as there is a lot to cover .the practical exams are bit tougher and includes the viva also.but most students pass if they work hard. Hard work is essential to studying MBBS.you must be ready to spent 12-16 hrs before exams.some kids even skip sleep day before exams.this may not be the most effective method of study but it's what most kids follow. Most students start preparations 1-2 weeks prior to exam and completely party the time in between . In mbbs there are some very fun subjects you will encounter and some very boring ones which you will struggle to study just to pass the exams. If you do find biology and the working of the human body interesting ,if you enjoy a very interactive type of learning experience,if you have a passion to save lifes and make to make a difference in this world and are willing to work very very hard.then i recommend you must work very hard to prepare for neet so that you can get into your desired gov medical Colleges.dont waste any more time wondering about it .just do it .give it all u can.give your 101% every single day and u still have time to do it Please make sure this is what you want for your life before you make your decision.
@@howtfdoihave115subs7 The problem for me in 11and 12th was that noone of the subjects excited me .i had no desire for studying infact i hated it and still do . I found chemistry and physics very boring and i could not imagine myself as an engineering throughout my life. Even though i liked computer i could not imagine being infront of a computer for the rest of my life. Of all the subjects biology was the most interesting to me and this what brought me here and that is still the most important thing that drives me The human body is the most fascinating thing in the world to me and it's a honour to be learning about it

Hey Darshan, you are practically right.......I am in PSU 38 yrs old now thinking of NEET UG, although my earning is good, life is running f9. But, the passion for being in Clinical is very satisfying. I believe it's practice that makes one good doctor.
But when you say its tough to earn 60000 at age of 24 via mbbs recall that most other graduates and even postgraduates are not able to earn that as well. And Civil service is not an easy thing that you fail neet once and then crack that in one go. People are taking drops for civil services. Maybe for someone like you it would gave been easier but not for the average neet fail student.

When I came across reality of MBBS and life at the same time, it became so tough for me to handle. I fell down, got severely bruised. Started suffering from anxiety. Still am.
But now that I know, I am going to try to work this out.

In addition to the neet ,next exams ,
the university theory exams and practicals every year r also really nerve wrecking .
I feel so bad for all those doctors who sacrifice their whole life for this and yet receive so little in return
I'm sorry if this feels discouraging to medical aspirants but this is the harsh reality kids.
One more question, if you had the option to not choose this field , what would you do?
Is it worth doing?
@@howtfdoihave115subs7
I cannot make a decision for u .
If you do find biology and the working of the human body interesting ,if you enjoy a very interactive type of learning experience,if you have a passion to save lifes and make to make a difference in this world and are willing to work very very hard.then i recommend you must work very hard to prepare for neet so that you can get into your desired gov medical Colleges.dont waste any more time wondering about it .just do it .give it all u can.give your 101% every single day and u still have time to do it
Please make sure this is what you want for your life before you make your decision.
@@howtfdoihave115subs7
The problem for me in 11and 12th was that noone of the subjects excited me .i had no desire for studying infact i hated it and still do .
I found chemistry and physics very boring and i could not imagine myself as an engineering throughout my life.
Even though i liked computer i could not imagine being infront of a computer for the rest of my life.
Of all the subjects biology was the most interesting to me and this what brought me here and that is still the most important thing that drives me
The human body is the most fascinating thing in the world to me and it's a honour to be learning about it

@Harshuu beta , mai MS surgery kiya hun .,
experience se bataa raha hun
think rationally not emotionally,., it's not worth to spend 8 to 10 yrs . instead prepare for UPSC ,. that's more rewarding
Eisa mat karo tum log , doctor ki respect society main sabse jyada hain , IT main bhi bahut struggle hain
@@user-wb6pb2df1z bhai.,. 8--10 yrs padhai kar ke doctor banne se behtar hai
5--6 saal me UPSC clear karna

Hats off to you sir 🙏 what a amazing way to tell the ground reality of our doctors fraternity 👍
Really sir, itne sare hard work katna padta hai.... Me to kabhi socha hi nhi tha.... Abhi to me Neet crack krne k liye bahut mehnat kr rha hu... Fir neet k baad aur mehnat 😒😩😩 .... Ab kaise give up karu... Ya... Give up kar du.... 😩😩
It doesn't matter...How much time it takes to achieve it & how badly it hurts to study for it...One day I will proudly say - Your life is saved/safe and I made it happened🙂
That’s true, one should have the courage and determination to move ahead ❤️
But sometimes when things goes wrong. And u know as a doctor u have nothing in your hand. That's also heart wrenching.
It is not about comparison it is all about passion if something is your passion then pain is nothing

Saari baatein aapki sahi h sir, buT what I felt after doing duties in wards and emergency was ki aapko agar ek jana aake accha accha bolta h toh uske opposite 10 jane hote h to abuse you, yes you get euphoria after getting blessings and saving someone’s life but jo abuse jhelna padta h jyadatar cases mai, that is really not worth it according to me, pehle mai bhi sirf society m acchi repo ke lie sochta tha to take clinical branches but after doing duties in clinics I feel ki agar kisi ko stress accha nhi lagta h life mai toh he should not take clinicals just for the sake of ego and ki log kya kahenge non clinicals leli toh! Because clinical is next level of stress( except for derma )
I also wish to take branches like radiology or pathology
