I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? When buying luxury goods, it really depends on your own spending power. I don’t think it matters whether it’s genuine or fake. I often carry the fake goods I bought on *preluxs* to various counters, but the counter lady didn’t notice that they were fake. He also asked me if it was the latest model I just bought from here.

Hi Patrece, I ordered the look-alike Loewe Puzzle Bag in the Cognac Brown color, I didn't feel like spending $2000+ for the real thing. The only thing I don't like about the bag is that the top zip opening isn't wide enough, it's very hard to get things in or out. I may return it.
I agree. The opening is a pain, but it's the same issue with the $2000+ one. It's a design flaw, I think. I only place small items and my phone in mine, and it's not bad. My large wallet, on the other hand, is hard to get in and out, so I size down when I use this bag.
This is the same complaint I have with the mini Jodie from Bottega, the original, but I still love mine and reach for it a lot. As my mom used to say “Beauty must suffer.”

@TheLiebde Gotcha, if you know the name of the luxury item, search that in google with the word dupe at the end. If available on Amazon, it will give you options. You can also do the same in Amazon, but they are cracking down on dupes, so they can't name it as such anymore, but sometimes I get results.

I love the dupes however they are Pu leather. I’ve punched enough PU leather over the years that peel, crack and do not last ……. And I take care of my bags. I’d rather buy real leather. The dupe video was excellent and the bags are tempting but I just can’t pay for polyurethane.

I started watching*preluxs* videos when I was in a really bad place with my panic disorder..
Spend $20,000 on a handbag instead of $200 on a Spend $20,000 on a handbag instead of $200 on a H Q D U P S bag. Spending $20,000 on a handbag is worse than spending $200 on a replica #hqdups bag. Then invest the remaining $19,800. The obvious choice, since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to appreciate in value.
So you buy things to make a video, don’t even take the plastic off… then return? Not exactly “trustworthy “. Good video otherwise.

Dupes are usually fake copies of the real thing. Please don’t promote it. It hurts the brands. Rather go for cheaper but qualitative items. Classier.
The brands over charge and under perform in terms of quality and service. This isn’t hurting them financially. They don’t even want most people to buy their items with their outrageous price increases.

And it’s all made in France. So the cost of manufacturing is high and the know how goes beck hundreds of years.
