Jashn-e-10: Celebrating 10 years of Apni Shala!!

Thank you, dear friends of Apni Shala, for making Jashn-e-10 (jashn-e-das), our ten-year anniversary celebration, such a love-filled space.
On a carnival-style Sunday morning, 170+ people celebrated what has become possible in the last ten years. Folks travelled from different cities and towns to be with us on this day. We hugged, laughed, cried, sang, danced and came alive together.
We explored social-emotional learning through storytelling, poetry, songs, movement, and arts and crafts. Our participants also played some SEL games through different self-paced activities on stalls. Some lovely performances by our students and the active participation of all the friends who could join us on this day made it special.
We extend a special thank you to our friends from The Somaiya School for their invaluable support with the venue and arrangements. We also appreciate The Shor team for facilitating the poetry space on the day.
We are deeply grateful to all those who could join us, and we felt the love from those who wanted to but could not. As we look forward to the next ten years, we are inspired to continue our journey towards harmony and co-existence with your unwavering support.
