this is amazing, thank you. by the way for questions like "what is 32 out of 160 as a percent?" you can just plug into calculator 32/160 which gives you 0.2 then multiply by 100 which will give you 20% super easy and fast way of doing it for anyone that thinks it may be a little overwhelming or time consuming doing it the other way.

im unsure how you get 2/5 from 3/5 of buttons left? is there a method to this?
Consider 5/5 as a whole so that would equal to 1 or 100% as a fraction. If she has 3/5 left out of those 5/5, that means she used 2/5 of those buttons/ 5/5-3/5=2/5 buttons used.

If anyone knows please respond, when taking the test, can you go back and forth between answers or are you done once you've answered one and move on to the next? I'm concerned about having enough time. I'm capable of getting most of these correct (I am trying to memorize the conversions and the old things I forgot like area and circumference etc FOIL) Haven't done much math in years...I think it's coming back but with effort.
Hi Frank! You can go back to a question within a section within the time frame. You cannot go back to say "reading" after you've started the math section.
It sounds like you are doing great. Have you been taken timed practice tests to see how you do on the time?
Thanks for replying! I did mine today and got a 74%! It was slightly above all national average scores. I wanted higher but I think I only needed a 70% so I believe I'm ok. I should have taken the ENGLISH section more seriously but it had been about a decade since I did math so I hyper focused on math and math ended up being my highest score lol. I should have done better in Science but I thought there would be more A&P and less chemistry/biology

Does the question about the tiles need to have the feet squared after the 86.3 or is 86.3 by itself correct?

I didn't understand that part because how come 75x0.15 makes it 86 something?
@mayanepal2133 because u have to round it off if a number is five 5 let it soar so that mean u make number in front of it goes up basically and if the number is less than 5 let it stay.
@@mayanepal2133 try to take the hesi test it's way easier and u don't have to do math for that test
If you ACE the other sections of the test, does it necessarily matter how poorly you do in the math section? I find I get the majority of my answers correct but it's more like 70% not the 90 to 100% I want; I expect to do fine on the reading and science. I do need to look at the chemistry section at least but I'm confident in the other sections of the test. There's reading, then the math I am cramming for, science and finally an English section I think? The math is not hard, I just haven't looked at this stuff in far too long. Unsure I can memorize it all in time, the rules, the area of shapes etc, the conversions. I figure Algebra practice matters the most then the conversions then the geometric portions (I'm skeptical I will remember the geometric portions. Pythagorean Theory? Been awhile. Where's the separate videos mentioned specifically? Is that the same channel?

It really depends on your school. Some schools have a minimum for each section and others go based on a minimum total score.

Is this the teas test for pta school as well?i take that in a few days and can't find anything for that one.
The TEAS does not change depending on your program, so the TEAS to get into RN, LPN, or PTA school is all the same. Is this for LPN or RN?
The TEAS 7 exam can be used by schools as an entrance exam for LPN or RN schools, the test is not different based on the program either, it's the same test regardless of the school or program. Hi! I really enjoyed the video and it helped out a lot. The last problem has me feeling like a deer in head lights. Can you please elaborate. I used the formulas for this problem and my answer was way off.
IDK if you're a math teacher but totally didn't understand the logic behind 24:17 at all. I hate math anyway, and you may have explained it perfectly, but that one totally flew over my head. Great tips though.
I also approach these type of problems as if I was buying something at a store. in this case, I pretend that a shirt is $75 and I had to pay 15% tax on top of it so in the calculator just input 75+15% = 86.25 then round to 86.3
