My first time on celebrity and my vessel of choice was the ascent. Loved, loved, loved it! Ready to book again because I didn’t see everything, do everything or eat everywhere. I was on the March 3-10 sailing.
We had the same experience want to go again and do everything we missed. Loved that ship

Thanks for the video. We are going on Ascent in October. We went on Beyond and liked it but hated the infinite veranda. This time we are trying the retreat. I like Celebrity but will not sail again with infinite veranda. Unfortunately, if they keep building ships with those I’m gonna be out of luck as you can always afford to go on the retreat.
I’ll be looking at your video of the sunset balcony, because I found out afterwards that was the only other way to get a real balcony, so that’ll be interesting to see
Hi Michelle! You are most welcome. I am glad you enjoyed the video. I think you are going to love your trip on the Ascent. Its an amazing ship. I hear you about the infinite verandas. Sunset Veranda is a good alternative. You can also get a Porthole Veranda but its a bit tricky.
Retreat is amazing. I just came back from the Apex where I did 7 days in the Retreat. I am working on a series of videos that will showcase everything about that experience. First one came out today. It's the room tour of the Sky Suite. I'll link it for you below.

Currently on a transatlantic 13 day on Ascent. Average age is 75 and not a lot to do as far as games bes😊trivia and such. Retreat is nice great service but if you’re not a drinker you’re paying way too much. We are on day 4 and have not taken advantage of the retreat lounge it’s pretty the same thing every day. The room service is a great perk since the buffet gets super busy. The 4 main restaurants included are good and Blue is really good. Our veranda is huge but it’s been so windy it’s hard to spend a lot of time there. Can’t wait for our first stop in Tenerife, although they are currently protesting tourist 🤦🏻♀️ 4/24

Eden was open on sea days for breakfast. We did a Back to Back the week of 2/18 and 2/25.

We were just on the Ascent February 18-25 and it was great! Unfortunately, Eden was NEVER open for breakfast and we were VERY DISAPPOINTED!! 😡Vloggers like yourself said in different videos that it was supposed to be open and even showed the menu. We had breakfast at Eden on Celebrity Apex and was looking forward to having it on Ascent but it never happened. We went to Eden and checked our Celebrity app daily and it was never available.
Hi Charles! Thank you for sharing. Eden should have been open for breakfast. At least on sea days. I wonder why this was not the case on your cruise. That is a disappointment for sure. I will be on the Apex in a few days. I'll go to Eden in the morning and ask around.

I agree Luigi is one of the all time best, knew him from a Bermuda cruise on the Summit over 10 years ago when he was a staff member for the cruise director.
A few questions, has Celebrity increased their portion sizes or are the dishes as skimpy as ever when I was on the Reflection in Sept 2023?
I ordered off the MDR Menu because the food in Blu was that bad.
Reasons why I left Celebrity had nothing to do with ship design or the crew, they were always wonderful, I left due to poor food quality on the S class ships, skimpy portions and the sky high prices. Now I hear they charge for Eden even for lunch...talk about fleecing and nickel and diming,
Hello good sir! Thank you for your comment. This is definately a much more elevated experience. In my opinion, Ascent is the best of Celebrity. Meal portions were on point. Everything was absolutely perfect. I wish all Celebrity cruise ships were like this one.

Celebrity is putting all their eggs in one basket with the Edge class, while ignoring the issues with the rest of the fleet.
There is a significant gap in experience between the Edge class and S/M class ships. I wonder what the plan will be once the last Edge Class ship comes out. I
I’ve been very hesitant to book these new Celebrity ships due to the infinite veranda. I prefer to sit outside and enjoy the sea breeze and fresh air without the AC going off and heating the entire cabin. Will be looking at the open veranda cabins if I decide to book.
I understand your hesitation. My sunset veranda room tour should give you a good idea of the balcony space out of the back. I'm boarding the Apex next week and will be in the porthole veranda. So expect a detailed review of that space as well.

@@skeletor9121 I noticed vibrations and noise while we were coming into Port Everglades. There was a bad storm and we had a hard time with it. Normally I felt slight vibation and noise when docking. Otherwise it was pretty quite! All I heard was the sounds of the water moving. I found it very relaxing.
