I feel like the real reason most people are depressed is because they always depend on someone to be there with them. Whether it’s a relationship or friendship, people always depend on someone to be there to make them happy. Social media has also made people believe being wild with others people at parties or clubs is a good source to be happy, receiving attention only drains from you although it makes you feel good because at the end those people aren’t there for you. Hey girl youre not alone even though it may feel that way- i got nostalgic for this song which came out in 2015 when i broke up with my first love. He was emotionally manipulative, blackmailing me, and i had 0 friends to talk to. It was probably the worst pain ive ever felt but i left anyway, and it changed my life- im a completely different person now and i have a great group of friends and boyfriend who’ve supported me thru everything. Remember this comment section has a lot of people who also feel they have no one in their life- youre definitely not alone even if you feel you are. It does get better and if you can work up the strength to change some things about your life, whether it means getting help from a counselor or reaching out to people to make deep emotional connections, it could be the domino that changes your entire world. Hope things work out with you and your bf, but no matter what happens remember that you are not alone and things get better 💖
