thumbs up !

Thumbs up.
Keep up the perfect work, my friend, i subbed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
At 11.50 when you wondering about a "block violation", all four tracks from HAM to COUNTY operates under Rule 562A which allows for Cab Signalling to be in full enforcement in lieu of wayside automatics. Simply put, the only wayside signals you see is at Home signals (HAM, MIDWAY, ADAMS, COUNTY). In the case of 3953/3870, 3870 can creep all the way to the coupler of 3953 because despite showing a 20MPH RESTRICTING on the Cabs, it is still a permissive signal. Furthermore, as 3953 takes off and 3870's signals improve, 3870 can take that signal at speed instead of waiting the traditional distance (500 Feet or one train length).
Rule 562 is also in force from DOCK to A Tower and removing the waysides has seen a improvement in capacity and flow in and out of PSNY
I figured it was something like this. I always forget the NEC is unique with cab signaling. I was with a friend who operates another line and he was heavily confused
Next time, If you’re unsure, please just ask a question in the comments and someone will answer offering an explaination. please do not ever put the railroad operating crews on blast like that by making a bold caption like that making a declaring statement like that (even if you are just wondering!), when you don’t know what the heck you’re saying. You could potentially cost someone their job. FYI, that switch you saw is strictly for the Princeton dinky. That does not connect to the other 4 mainline tracks. The dinky runs on DCS controlled track. what we railroaders call form d control system. That track is controlled by DCS or form d rules for short and the dinky has exclusive occupancy of that track. No other trains use that single track besides the dinky hence why it has exclusive occupancy of that track. Also the cab signal systems afford us the ability to go at speeds higher than 59mph. Every thing redarrow5591 said is true. Hope that helps answer your questions!
@@thetravelingrailroadistthe friend of mine was referring to the switch. I told him after the video that the switch doesn’t connect to the other three tracks and it faces the opposite direction of normal traffic.
unknown train at 5:38 looks like a silver service train , the crescent and the cardinal doesn't have a diner and have baggage dorms the lakeshore has a sleeper and a lounge up front 4 or 5 passenger coaches with a diner a couple of sleepers and regular baggage car on the rear
16:06 that’s the Vermonter 5:37 is silver meteor 97
Didn’t realize the Vermonter went down to DC, only thought it went to New York. Also I figured that it was one of the silver service trains, but rail rat wasn’t lining up with it.
The PRR loco is so fitting on this route.
