Woah, I never expected to see a Quest for Glory arrangement on this or any channel! I played the series for the first time last year and was immediately enchanted by it. Anything associated with Erana is always a haven of security and healing in a dangerous world, and your arrangement captured that beautifully. Fantastic work as always Rebecca!
The soundtrack to the 5th (final) game of the series had a lot of great stuff on it. Silmarian Meanderings - Day and Night (town music), The Dance of Mystery and Intrigue, and Undersea Exploring would be great ones to do!@@RebeccaETripp
@@RebeccaETrippIt still is today since the day you made this - I always listen to it when I feel lonely and think about how wonderful of a person you are to me and everyone else here much like Erana!
Rebecca, the 7 years was worth the wait! While nostalgia can often be weighted with melancholy, this was, by far, a wonderful trip back in time; a welcoming embrace in the comfort of Erana's Peace, filled with warmth, tranquillity and light. You were unquestionably, always the obvious choice to take this wonderful melody and elevate it to such a truly celestial level. I am totally stealing the credit for the suggestion, but leaving the well-earned compliments to you! It means a lot that you took the time out to make this, thank you!
My dad picked up Shadows of Darkness on a whim for our computer when I was about nine. I loved it, played it all the time, beat it before even my folks did. I remember Erana's Garden being a place I could always count on for safety, and the music was eerie enough that it wouldn't feel /completely/ safe. Then of course, there's Toby. 'Your love for the child is great.' You see Toby nod his head.
Quest for Glory 1. It is a magic grove in the forest. Pretty important for my younger self since it is a safe (and free) place to sleep at night. I still remember not getting to town before the gate was closed and I thought I had to survive in the wild for the whole night. Then I discovered this place. "Erana's Peace" was such a good name for it since it was always a place of safety when I was bad at video games 😅
@@RebeccaETripp This game series was my favorite, growing up as they came out. It's very rare to find covers and arrangements of the music from the series, which is such a shame. Your version here is really lovely. :) Thank you so much for sharing this.
had no idea about this but I am glad I do now! this is a lovely arrangement that is great to listen to and I am definitely going to check out the game this is from when I get the chance!
Magnificent. Have you tried checking the frequency of your music ? My freind tells me I listen to alpha waves frequencies. That must be why I listen to so much of your music. It helps with meditation, channeling etc
I'm sorry to hear that you dislike this piece of music and I find your comment to be very rude and condescending. If you wanted to offer constructive criticism (like how it is a mess, what didn't you like about it, how it can be improved, etc...), that would be one thing, but simply calling it a "disjunct mess" is just insulting to Rebecca and everyone else here. If you're being sarcastic and just joking around because you know Rebecca well, then this is a poor idea of a joke.

OMG.... I'm crying listening to this... it's so beautiful!
There are no words... I'm just such an emotional mess right now and I love this so much....
It means a lot to me. I really wanted this to be magical in the same way that you felt when you played the game.
Awww

I'm glad you like it! Thanks!
Alway a wonderful instrumental blend with your work.
Thanks for listening! :)

I didn't get around to playing this until the 2000s, but it still hits right in the nostalgia. Nice one.
Thanks!
Fantastic, this was beautiful 😊
Thank you so much! :D
Such a wonderful game and a wonderful rendition of the theme to boot
Thank you so much! ^_^
Don't know the game and thus never heard the tune before, but it's...inspiring and beautiful! ❤
It's a great game series!

@@labrynianrebel It truly is a magical place, and the melody here is indelibly associated with safety and relief.
Thank you for this arrangement! You captured the calmness just like the original. Great childhood memories when I played this back then.
Thank you very much, and you're welcome!
This is one of the best Erana's Peace cover that I could find on the tube, Thank you for your hard work! this really made my day :D
Thank you, too! ^_^
This was a great one. Nice job Rebecca 👍👍🥰
Thanks a lot!
What a lovely arrangement; thanks for taking the time to do such an iconic piece of music!

A new arrangement of Erana's Peace?
It's my lucky day!
I'm glad that there are people who played the game hearing it now. Thank you!

Thank you very much!
Quest for Glory is a very neat game you should give a try. The VGA remakes are top notch.
Erana is actually a Hebrew Girl name and the meaning of this name is "Bright One". ☀️
Cool! I didn't know! Similar to Eleanor, then.
This has an optimism and clarity to it that's grounding.
Thanks again, Graham! ^_^
Never played the game this is from, but it sounds amazing.
