Please save all of them there so sweet and Adorable how beautiful they are His bless your sweet soul your a beautiful lady inside and out your light shines like the sun stay the way you are sweet lady your one of God's angels on Earth Peggy Lynn Smith from Corbin Kentucky
Jami the fact you got Christmas and your still going back to try and get Santa only speaks volumes of the true unconditional love you have for the babies. I was also hoping like you that Santa would of found his home. I pray he opens his heart one day and knows not all humans are bad. Beautiful video Jami
Jamie, you have the purest heart. Both, you and Lester, are the kindest, most generous, loving people ever. We.need more people like you in this world.
Break the Winnies up into bite-size pieces. That way you can get him to come in closer and stay longer. But I’m so glad to see him again. you guys are doing your best.❤
Did you notice that towards the end of the video his tail was hanging down instead of tucked all the way to his tummy? You're winning his trust bit by bit. It's going to take a while, but you're so loving you'll do it. I watch a few channels, but you and Lester are the ones I faithfully follow. And yes, Lester, I'm a double dipper. 😊
I thought I noticed his ears perk up and his head tilt ever so slightly at the end but thought maybe I was seeing what I wanted to see. The other dog looks older to me so maybe Santa is one of her babies and left to go look for her and then was hiding out during all the crazy weather changes so that’s why he hadn’t been seen. Just thinking outloud with my thumbs.
Santa is so darn cute! When you get closeups I just love his “scruffiness”. Whenever I can’t get a dog to come to me it hurts my feelings because I just want to love on them. I would never in a million years hurt an animal. Just keep trying. He got pretty close to you this time.
You know, Jami? Now that Christmas has been with you for a while and is soooo attached to you, I wonder what would happen if you bring her *LEASHED* to the Valero, and Santa is there. She might be the best bait for Santa, only because he trusts her and she trusts you. Plus Santa is getting used to you too.
It took our neighbor hood rescue lady a year and a half to catch this one dog…after she did it took 6 months to get this dog to really trust her. Then for the next 6 years that dog never left her side. Goofy died 5 years ago TOD….. THE LADY NEVER GOT OVER LOOSING GOOFY..
Stray dogs and cats are a problem everywhere. Our local animal shelter won't even come out to rescue them because of covid and over crowding. It's 😔 sad
@@sherreeroper7656 our shelters don't care about covid much. I've even had animal control tell me that. But they are so over populated they won't come get animals and people are just dropping strays or their own animals off tying them to doors ar our shelters. We rescued a cat a year ago, just a baby and we took him to the shelter and they begged us to keep him. We couldn't we already had a male cat that was in 4H with our daughter and we knew having another male cat would not be a good thing since our cat was now 10 yrs old and retiring from 4H that year. It's sad. I was just on our humane society's web page last night and I saw 4 dogs and 8 cats still there from 3 yrs ago. I told my husband since the 4 dogs are good with other dogs if they are still there by March we have to go get at least 2 dogs. Can't do cats unfortunately because our male cat but we can a couple more dogs to play with our 5 yr old Akita mix.
Sadly people abuse animals by never getting them fixed (spay-neuter). The dogs/cats do what comes naturally which is try to find a mate. At that time alot wonder off and unfortunately get lost, killed, etc. PLEASE, anyone who has a pet get them fixed. There's way too many pets in shelters in the US and around the world.
Thanks for hanging in there Jami and trying to rescue Santa, and now you have another one that's tugging at your heart! I know good people probably feed them when they pass through at the gas station, but where do you think they get water from? Do you still have the cage out there? That manager seems to care about you catching the dog, maybe you could drop some dog food off and a couple of bowls and have him feed Santa and give him water, I know you're kind heart is feeding him whatever is available, and I realize that you know that it's not good for him to keep eating nitrate hot dogs! For those of you who are going to start coming at me, I know the hot dogs beat starving! But if there is a way to start Santa and his friend on healthy dog food, at least it will make a dent in some of the other health problems that the dogs have, like heartworms, and fleas, mange, and God knows what else! Jami Your an Angel! 💗💕💗⚘
Jami you need to sing to him. I believe that is when your animal magic really comes out. It is so sad how many dogs and cats are being abandoned. Thank you and Lester for all your time and effort trying to rescue these beautiful dogs. I pray you can rescue Santa and Elf both soon. God bless you all and keep you safe ❤️🙏
And you'll be overwhelmed in a very short time. You need prep time to do that. If I can convince my husband to leave his job if 41 years and convince him to get out of Vermont (my dream), I think that would be my plan. The area needs help. Residents need education and enforcement
Seeing the stray dogs just breaks my heart. I volunteer at a shelter here in Michigan and we get most of our dogs from Texas. Thank you Jami, for caring so much. ❤
I was just going to suggest this too, it may encourage him to see her again as he'll be confused she vanished. Plus he was bonded with her. He is very slowly begining to trust Jami as at the end his tail was less tucked plus he lay down near her. Sadly could take awhile but hope it doesn't 🙏
Santa is such a cutie! I can tell he really likes you Jami and that he really wants to break down and trust you. He doesn't seem anywhere near as skiddish as he was when you last saw him with Christmas at that Valero. Bless you for caring about him and the other strays and for not giving up on Santa. I want him to live with y'all and Christmas again!
Santa has the sweetest little face. I pray that Santa will allow you to rescue him and that the new dog is able to be rescued as well. You have a huge and loving heart Jami.
The second dog doesn’t look as feral as Santa does. There are way too many ‘Have to re-home my pet’ on NextDoor Neighbor app, but at least they don’t just dump them to fend for themselves. Bless you for your kind heart and sweeter spirit, Jami
A wire haired Terrier lived on the streets for 2 years. I moved into the neighborhood she began to follow me around the outside of the house. Eventually I was able to bring her inside. I was walking her one day along with my Cocker Spaniel that had hip dysplasia pulling her in a wagon I made especially for her with shocks. Anyway, the dog Catcher stopped me. Ask me how I caught the Terrier. My response was “She Caught Me”. That’s when the Dog Catcher told me they’d been trying to catch her for 2 years. She was the Best Dog and Friend to Me, My Cocker Spaniel and my 2 Kitty Cats. I had her for 10 years after that. Love you Channel. ❤️
Sorry i'm late I was sitting on a curb with Santa. I can just hear your boss LOL You have such a heart of gold and I just love yall ! Much love from Tennessee so glad I found you guys. You need that hook thing that dog catchers use to get him that Lester has.
Good morning Jami ☀️ My husband rescues dogs and he keeps resealable bags of dry dog food and 1 or 2 slip leashes with him. It takes a while for him to build trust but when he can get close enough to get the leash on them straight to our vet they go. They get whatever treatment, shots, etc, including surgery with follow up chemo for one, that they may need. He does this all out of pocket. Maybe leaving dog food in a certain place for Santa would help. You are definitely building trust with him. And a visit with Christmas with her on leash so she could explain what a wonderful life could be had might just convince him to come along with you.❤️🐾💖🐾❤️
I’m thinking the same thing. Seeing Christmas just might be what Santa needs to trust Jami enough to go with her. Your husband is such a hero for dogs as well. God bless you both for taking on that challenging task. The dogs he rescues have a better chance to a full loving life.
Jami you are so smart. 💓Praying for the two puppies. My dream one day is to open a care facility for all the lonely puppies of the world… I love all you do. Ty for sharing and God bless you. Take care everyone.❤️
My heart is breaking with you Jami. Sadly this is happening all over the world, in almost every city. Some people just don't care, and the ones qho do are so overwhelmed with thee sheer amount of homeless animals out there. Thank God for people like you who do care and want to make a difference.
I couldn’t agree more with you about this being a problem. Have you ever looked at Craigslist? The sheer number of people who are “rehoming” an animal within the first year of getting it, is astounding!! And the reason for the posts are always the same, “I don’t have the time for it” really? These people didn’t know this BEFORE they bought the animal? So now they’re looking to get rid of it, and if no one else is interested, it’s either the pound, a shelter or the street. Biggest reason I’ve loved animals more than people. And why I love the Morrow’s!!
Thank you peopjd sooo much for your determination to save this sweet doggie God bless you and keep you safe and meet your every need Peggy Lynn Smith from Corbin Kentucky
This is definitely a " To be Continued "! I do believe that contacting this guy from the rescue is the right thing to do. I also believe with all my heart that you will get Santa - like the saying goes: " It takes a village ". He does want to come with you & trust you & he's almost there ♥ - I can see it in his body language. Right now he has that " Should I or Shouldn't I " going on in his head. You have almost won him over - keep trying! Hopefully Part 2 of this story comes tomorrow or Saturday! Hoping and 🙏 for a happy ending! If you're still looking for a holiday name for the other dog, I did a quick Google search and the 1 that I really liked was - Dasher! Not only is it holiday related, but also unfortunately fits his current living situation. Good luck & have a gr-8 day Jami 😊!
Jami, your gonna have to be called the “puppy love rescuer”. If you catch him that will be 9 dogs. After the pups. Maybe the neighbors should help catch Santa. You can’t be there 24/7. You are just the biggest hearted lady ever. At least they are willing to share food. That’s amazing. You could probably get them both to go with you. At my age I can’t adopt another dog and my 14 yr old boxer is going down. 😢 you could do dna if you caught them both. Santa may be concerned since Christmas is missing. Bet you could find a home for the newest one. If Santa is weaker than the other that might be why he’s intimidated easier. Go feed them… open the door to the car…. Leave a bag…. The new one jumps in and maybe Santa would join??!! Love this. Your heart is so big.
It’s so hard when you have such a huge heart. I was so happy to see him but my heart was broken because you couldn’t get him. At least you tried your best and I know that you will do all you can. Never give up because he’s coming closer to you. Thank you for all you do.
PLEASE PLEASE keep trying. They are so at the mercy of humans! If he only knew the happiness he had waiting. You have a sweet heart Jamie. Thanks for continuing to try… we are rooting for you! 🐶❤️
Jami, it touches my heart at how diligent you are to help Santa and his friend. I really think his friend could be rescued pretty easily but I would hate to see Santa left again. If anyone can get through to him I think it’s you. He really seems to want to trust you. ❤️
So glad that you saw and feed Santa....I feel that Santa knows you are safe, but he is still yet very cautious of you because of his past....The other doggie is more trusting of you but yet leery of you....Hopefully it will help Santa trust you even more....Praying Santa begins to trust and comes home with you soon....
There must of been a female in heat nearby. That’s why he wasn’t there before. Maybe seeing the other dog trusting you will help Santa with his trust issues. He was inching closer and closer. You have such a generous heart, Jaime. Keep trying you’ll win him over. Thanks so much for sharing. Love you
I'm still friends with the lady who fostered my twin chis. She lives in Baytown TX and works with several rescues to get Houston Dogs homes up north. It took her 2 years to catch Hanna, a female German Sheppard. She has been trying to rehabilitation Hanna since July 2021 and there is still a long way to go but she is making progress! We do what we can for as many animals as we can and that's all we can do! I'm rooting for you and Santa 🎅 💯! ❤️
I think a dog rescue is a perfect idea!! Your love for animals is such a blessing. I also rescue dogs and it’s tough out there now. Shelters and rescue groups are over capacity. People can’t afford pets in this economy. Here in Illinois, landlords are increasing rent to the point where it’s unsustainable. Slow and steady. We are blessed to have you in our corner.
Jami, I agree with you, either liter mates or father and son. Bless you Jami! You are doing more for Santa and his crew then anybody else, please don't feel bad. Santa knows you are helping him.. I pray he finally lets it happen bc i can see a happy, healthy loving Life waiting for him and you.. YOU ARE THE BEST JAMI💖💖🙏💖💖
This is heartbreaking. You are doing an amazing job. Having worked with similar dogs, you will probably have to go everyday at the same time with some food to gain his trust. And break the hotdog into several pieces so they last longer. If you notice that towards the end his tail wasn't as tucked under as when first started.
The only suggestion I have, I kept thinking about this the whole time. Ask Santa if he wants to go bye, bye. Also go by another time with some really good smelling food and don't get out of the car. I hope that he is hungry enough to get in for food. I know I'm dreaming. 😳💖
Oh Jami, my heart breaks for Santa! He is so beautiful! I have done the same thing you are doing, an came to realize that when they are as skittish as he is, there has been a lot of abuse in his life causing him to be leary of any human contact. That is so sad. At least 80% of the dogs I have fostered, cared for, I have rescued off the street. That is a very scary location for him to be in and way to much noise to get his attention. I wish I didn't live a 1,000 miles from you an could help. I will pray that he give up enough of his fears to trust you an can be saved. Either one or both of them could be Christmas babies. They both look so much like her. Please don't give up on him! Good luck and God Bless you beautiful lady. 💞😇🙏
I am so glad y'all rescued Christmas. It's scary to think of her having her puppies alone in that parking lot. They wouldn't have had a chance. Praying for Santa too
Santa is such a pretty dog I bet he would be beautiful all cleaned up an healthy, you can tell he wants to trust but is so scared too. You can tell Santa is still young due to the white spot on his nose, perhaps he is Christmas’s baby? Maybe? I hope someone can rescue him and York too. 😊😮
Good morning Jami appreciate how much you try to save Santa. He's not very trusting of humans. I remember how he yelped when Lester tried to close the cage on him. Thank you for the update on Santa. Have a great day everyone.
Jamie, there is a rescue that is called This is Houston and they do a lot of work in Cleveland, maybe they could be of some assistance. That group does some amazing work.
I hope you get Santa- he is starting to trust you- he almost looks part Border Collie and Terrier. He is unique looking and so cute. I think if you go up every day, he will start getting closer to you. Start singing to him.
This video is so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Knowing what dogs on the street live through or don't live through, I never thought Santa found a home! Sending prayers for Santa and his friend and all dogs and cats live on the streets
So warmhearting and heartbreaking in one! If SANTA is caught you must take NEW YEAR too! Thats neverending story I know from animal welfare in South Europe 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Thank you for never giving up! One day you will succeed andall will be the happiest we all know...
Ah Jami you are so good. Santa looks quite young to me he is cute. You sure are in a dilemma there. I am sure if you did have the space you would have a dog rescue. Prayers for you all
I wondered if he might be her baby because I felt like he looks young too. Perhaps both of them are from a litter and previously has. Her tests looked like she had been pregnant before to me, but maybe it’s just her breed and how far along she currently is. The other dog seemed ti have had human touch before. He hesitated but barely and couldn’t have cared less that she pet him. Perhaps only because she was on the ground though. Oh, I want to see more. 😢
Jami, you are so kind hearted and I know you can’t take all these pour lost souls in but you can ( and I’m sure you are ) advocate for these 2 dogs. Make calls, keep posting videos, like the ones you have been posting, and use your media presence to bring awareness to rescues and animal lovers ( all of us following you ❤️ ) so that at least these 2 dogs can get into better hands. Keep being you! 😊
I'm glad you did an update because its just constant asking about Santa in the comments of every single video acrossed Lester and your platforms. Im so happy you are being such a kind humans to these stray pups. I would do the exact same thing but thankfully we don't have this problem in my very small town. I know the shelters are overwhelmed and hell most aren't accepting new animals. I truly hope everyone knows and understands yall can't save them all but you all are trying your very best!! Sending good vibes you guys can get Santa some day!
I am glad to see Santa is back. I hope y’all can finally catch him & his friend. So sad seeing them on the streets like this. You are so sweet trying so hard to rescue them both.
The problem is not just Plumb Grove. The problem is Texas. Texas shelters have the highest kill rate in the nation. It's obvious Texan's need to be informed and educated on animal welfare. Do what you can to educate and promote political change with your channel. You have enormous power because people listen to you. I believe the most effective way to promote change and save lives is EDUCATION. Thank you for all you do Jami. I am a huge fan.
It's good to know that there's a dog rescue in the area. They may help get him which will be hard in such an open area. But you will be able to get Santa!❤🐕
Totally feeling this video... I do believe that "Elf" (which I believe should be named Keebler) is Santa and Christmas's pup.. he has yellow on his chest.. but I look at Santa and he looks so young. Dogs are my weakness 💛..
Jami I’m so proud of you for not giving up on Santa. We want to see him go with you so bad.
He does not look like he missed too many meals. Feed it to him in smaller pieces and make him keep coming closer to get it.
JAMI: LOVE IS WHAT YOU ARE SHOWING. FROM Heaven to you !
Please save all of them there so sweet and Adorable how beautiful they are His bless your sweet soul your a beautiful lady inside and out your light shines like the sun stay the way you are sweet lady your one of God's angels on Earth Peggy Lynn Smith from Corbin Kentucky

@Kelly Bowman I think Santa is Christmas' puppy. That pink spot on his nose and lip means he is pretty young. That pink can take a year to turn black.
That's amazing, did not know that! Thanks for the info.
You know, Jami? Now that Christmas has been with you for a while and is soooo attached to you, I wonder what would happen if you bring her *LEASHED* to the Valero, and Santa is there. Awww Santa has a new friend. This is heartbreaking to me too. Jami you’re such a great person.

Santa is the cutest dog, his face is adorable.

My heart really breaks for these babies.
Jamie, your so precious 💞

What I was thinking.😊😊
I wondered that too. Many times strays are more comfortable with humans if there's another dog, but this one he knows.
Try putting her in the back if the SUV leashed in, leave it open, and see if he will join her.
Santa is such a cutie! I can tell he really likes you Jami and that he really wants to break down and trust you. He doesn't seem anywhere near as skiddish as he was when you last saw him with Christmas at that Valero. Bless you for caring about him and the other strays and for not giving up on Santa.
Good morning Jami oh I was hoping he found a home to oh poor thing and he's got a buddy sending prayers to those dogs and you
Oh Jami. God bless you for trying to rescue them! There's a special place in heaven for you!
It takes time to build trust for an animal. Sometimes it takes weeks.
It took my cat Penny 2 years to come in my house. Even then she only wanted in when the weather was inclement. She was the best cat ever.
..actually months/years...😢
Thanks for continuing to try..Come on Santa.❤
We are all rooting for you Jami.
As well as these sweet babies getting rescued
Santa is so stinking cute ❤️. I'd be just like you Jami wanting to save each and everyone of them 💞
It’s sad that Santa hasn’t been rescued but at least you know that he’s ok for now and not off hurt somewhere. ❤️
Poor Santa. He is beautiful. I sure hope he will one day go with you. 🙏
It’s a good sign he was comfortable enough with you to lay down! Hoping and praying you are able to rescue him ❤️🙏
🐶💛🤗 Santa is such a sweet & pretty dog. 🌟🙏🏼🌟
Love you
Oh my heart ❤️ such desperation. So precious. I love you Jami. 😍
Morning Jami
Santa a puppy and I think the big dog is the dad so I would take Santa 🎅 for now thank you sweetie for getting things rolling in getting Santa 💓
They are so cute. But Santa is adorable! He still looks like a puppy!
Santa needs a home. 👍🐶😊 I hope he goes back with you Jami. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊
You are truly an honorable lady to try so hard to get Santa help and rescue. Thanks Jamie.
Good morning on this blessed Thursday with you and Santa and your great heart and love
Awwww Santa is such a sweet looking baby. His little face is so adorable. Breaks my heart seeing all the homeless dogs. 💔
❤️🙏💚 for Santa and his elf. Thank you for continuing to try Jami.
I am so glad y'all rescued Christmas. It's scary to think of her having her puppies alone in that parking lot. They wouldn't have had a chance. Praying for Santa too
Hello Jami . You have the biggest loving heart. ❤❤❤❤
I found myself saying, "Come on Santa, go with Jami", out loud! It's so heartbreaking.
Omg I was actually doing the same I was Whistling trying to get next to Jami.
He nipped at Lester as he jumped out the cage!
Jami 🤗 I pray 🙏🏾 someone rescue both those beautiful fur babies 🐾🐾 thank you for not giving up 🙏🏾
I’m glad you found Santa and his Elf York! ❤ I pray you catch him.
It breaks my heart. I wish people would be responsible with their pets. Thank you Jamie for caring.
Jamie, there is a rescue that is called This is Houston and they do a lot of work in Cleveland, maybe they could be of some assistance. That group does some amazing work.
Keep them all as outside dogs on the property! Take em all! Haha. Bless your heart ❤❤❤❤ elfie is a good name!
Breaks my heart to see both dogs hungry and running loose. You have a heart of gold Jami.
Santa is so cute! If I lived closer, I would come get him.
I hope you get Santa- he is starting to trust you- he almost looks part Border Collie and Terrier. He is unique looking and so cute. I think if you go up every day, he will start getting closer to you. Start singing to him.
I thought the minute I saw them I said relatives. Those puppies will be adorable. I understand your pain as I feel it too. Blessings and prayers. 🕊️
Good morning Jamie you and Lester have such a big heart for animals have a wonderful day take care and be safe ❤️
Oh my Goodness, I wanna reach right thru my screen and give Santa some lovin'! 😎
This video is so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Knowing what dogs on the street live through or don't live through, I never thought Santa found a home! Sending prayers for Santa and his friend and all dogs and cats live on the streets
Santa is absolutely adorable. ❤
Really appreciate your dedication to helping Santa and his friend! They do look alike, don't they!? Best wishes from northern Illinois.
We Love you Santa! And his friend too
Jami, you are so kind hearted and I know you can’t take all these pour lost souls in but you can ( and I’m sure you are ) advocate for these 2 dogs. Make calls, keep posting videos, like the ones you have been posting, and use your media presence to bring awareness to rescues and animal lovers ( all of us following you ❤️ ) so that at least these 2 dogs can get into better hands. Keep being you! 😊
Amen! If anyone can gain Santa's trust it would be Jami. Her soft and kind voice will win him over in no time at all.🙏😍💓
Oh jami your so kind hearted jami walker 💜 honestly you do so much good the universe has your back ....⭐👌
Oh my goodness! The way Santa looks at you melts my ❤️
Jami, you are the most amazing women I know!❤️🇨🇦❤️
I'm glad you did an update because its just constant asking about Santa in the comments of every single video acrossed Lester and your platforms.
I just want to love you. How many times have us rescuers said that. Breaks my heart
That little baby face just makes your heart melt. I pray you all can save him and the other little guy. God Bless you all
