These post-game conferences are turning into The Luke Fickell Classic. "It's really difficult", "There were some opportunities", "You gotta battle", "This one hurts", you could put any one of these on over the last season and a half and you wouldn't know which game he was talking about.
I warned people when he was hired that he was bad at OSU. When you're bad at OSU you're not a great coach. Winning at Cincinnati is vastly different where you have to win a couple big games a year.
Wimpy Wisconsin media won’t confront him about that terrible 4th and inches from the shotgun call Longo made. Even Alverez and announcers were shocked by the stupidity.
teams literally dont even practice going under center anymore.. when your center has been in nothing but the spead offence since middle school, they dont trust the exchange on a key play like that. their coaches systematically are failing them

I'm not going to judge him off of a year and a half without his type of players. Can't build a program with transfers. The 24' and 25' class can be a stepping stone. It's definitely frustrating for sure but the prior staff didn't leave him with much.
That 2nd half was trash. Did anyone notice the nonexistent sense of urgency in the 4th quarter. Run the play clock down to 3 seconds every play when we are on Offense and down 10 and then 17. WTF. Locke Sucks. He should transfer. I hate this. We don't even know how to run a hurry up offense. 4th down play call was F'n terrible. When you bunch up and run it never ever works. Spread them out and run from under center or QB sneak which is out of the equation in the gun. I am trying to stay patient but we seam to be dumb as hell.
This dude isnt paying atention. Does anyone ever see him talking to Longo or players on the sideline? Never challenges, never calls a timeout, never talks it out. The commentators made FUN OF YOU on live TV...

I've seen no improvement from your first season to your second air raid Offense is not what you wanna, call you're offensive philosophy when you're coming into wisconsin, every Wisconsin fan knew you weren't going to make that fourth down, draw play before it happen. Like 80 defense snaps , the d was in the field for soooooop long . So many 3 and outs . 1st half looked great after that muff punt it went completely down hill
Maybe if they could get a stop on 3rd down they wouldn't be on the field for 200 snaps. Defense SUCKS, especially DLine. O doesn't help either or lack of I should say.
"If you don't block a guy." However, a RB gets a head start at the snap when the QBs under center whereas they have to wait for the snap to get to the QB before starting when in shotgun. The DE collapsed and got to the QB because of the extra time it takes to run power from shotgun.
The offense couldn’t stay on the field. QB play was atrocious with less than 50% completions! Fickle lost me with his comment about going under center on 4th and 1. Why give the defense a chance to penetrate into the backfield? That’s on Longo and his scheme.
I have been a season ticket holder since 1980. I miss the Jim Leonard type of smart aggressive defensive college football. I still do not have confidence in the current coaching staff, something is missing. With a week's time need to be able to thoroughly prepare for a game and with less time we need to smartly be able to foresee and make the correct adjustments at halftime in order to win as many games as we should. We need both, very good players and coaches that can teach and develop talent.
I wonder if the higher ups at Wisconsin are kicking themselves in the ass for these terrible decisions?? If not they should be like hell for crying out loud Iowa state is playing better football than us and idc who they are playing against ISU is winning and they are not even in the big 10 this staff doesnt get it

I dont see the toughness or rigid coaching that is required to motivate. You are a pre Madonna. You are in well over your head in this gig. Dont get me started on your oc. If you group the BG10 into tiers WI is in the bottom with NW and UCLA. Next tier is MN MD and MSU. Next is IL NE IA IN WA RUTGERS. Next is PSU MI USC and OR. Purdue is so bad they don’t count. OSU is by itself.
