Gyre at the surface of the front panel is basically invisible.
When you have enough corals in the tank, no one is looking at pumps.
Its more about getting the wire there on a rimless :P How about a surface gyre on the overflow?! :P

you may recall I struggled quite a bit with flow when we first set up and I was asking you questions about your MP60s as I used to gyres vertically on the sides with 2 MP40s and it was a mess. when we went to MP60s and one gyre on the overflow it all settled just nicely... been running a year now and couldn't be happier@@ReefDudes
@@midnightreef7946 i debated doing the vertical gyre route. I’m actually experimenting with adding a gyer on the overflow now to up the flow a bit more since it’s filling in so much now
This has been great, I am working on plans for a 48” peninsular and this has been great “food for thought”.
12 minutes into this stream, I can totally relate to Ryan’s OCD level. You can tell he thinks about every single detail to the end. 😂I feel your frustration man, I’m exactly the same.

I just pulled the gyre 350s, 3 of them from the end of my peninsula, have 2 MP60 and adding a 3rd. 2 more MP60 on overflow. 96”x30x24h

Hey Deven, can you get randy holmes-farley on to tell us more about the phosphate rock equilibrium? I've heard about rock leaching po4, but this is the first time hearing about po4 equilibrium in the water column
