How we feeling the new logo and brand?
Loving it!
First, y'all are great; I appreciate all your content and hyperfocused diligence on all you do. Well, since you asked... I like it all but the ribbon. There is such a heightened awareness of pro-Palestinian sentiment and support of LGBTQ+ ... both heavily rely on flags and rainbow color schemes. When I first saw it, my first thought was some kind of a)support for or b)support against it - which is completely unrelated to your mission. I know they are not these same colors .. but there are so many perversions of the scheme for or against ...I just can't unsee it. All the other elements are great ... I just wish I would have seen ALL the other design elements before I saw the ribbon because I can't unsee it. :(
Oh do you mean in the headshot, Clayton? That's interesting. We definitely had discussions about avoiding any color schemes that resembled existing causes. And I don't think it comes off that way on the website or anything like that. But I could definitely see what you mean with the headshot.
i think it was just in general... but I've been following you for a couple of years and have no doubt in your intentionality in all the design elements. Now that you mentioned it, probably yes, mostly in the headshot. Other than that, the fonts, design and all the rest look really great! Appreciate all you are doing to champion the Church! @@prochurchtools

I’ve always assumed the Pro Church Tools was an intentional play on “Bring professionalism to churches using these new communication tools” and “churches should be for embracing these new tools, or pro embracing”
