Just received my Kage kaddy 500 series sulky today. These guys are prompt with delivery and have designed a 10/10 product. Yes, the sulky is much more expensive than others available BUT.... worth every penny. I decided to go with the full suspension 500 series as this will be used on a daily basis and my legs, hips, knees and back are worth much more that the cost of this unit. I've owned other brands and this one by FAR is the only one I will ever consider. Their other models are a great choice as well if you're using it partially throughout the day. I wouldn't recommend riding a non suspension sulky all day. God Bless!
Two decades ago, I worked as a professional landscaper and used a mower almost exactly like this one. I recently bought a house and learned that I am not only going to have to mow my own lawn, but the couple of acres next to my house that is owned by the city. I want a mower like this one. I think I will be able to make some extra bucks mowing lawns for my neighbors.
They're right. You can't wheelie a stand on easily. I was thinking manufactures must own patents to suspension sulkies then I found this. A suspension sulky on a walk behind is the answer vs stand on. IMO. Plus the savings on weight and ease of maintenance. And price.
@@lilbigGermhis point is that's operator error the operator kept the lever right on the center while the stand on he kept the lever slightly forward so the wheel doesn't lock up I have both and they both do it if you lock it up
The parent company has resisted the trend to the zero turn or stand on mower. Hmmm... I would think so. Why? Those platforms don't required a Kage product. Seems obvious.
From 3:34 to 3:44 in this video my question is... was that (the lawnmower man) cell phone real cell phone or 🚫 or was that a fake cell phone 2 be used as a prop for the video???🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨
The things wrong with this video👇🏻 1.) We never got to see the stander mower on the hill 2.) Walk behinds cost more money to maintain because of the price of maintenance for the velke 3.) Walk behinds are harder to turn with 4.) Making a three point turn is not time consuming if you know how to do it 5.) Controls for walk behinds are hard on your hands
@@aleemsmith9507 There was not any live action footage of the stand on in the video. The took a photo from Stanley Genadeks video about how they slipped when the ground was WET. I do agree that everyone should know how to run all types of mowers, but some just don’t aren’t for some people.
*This mower....... changed my life **Bestfor.Garden** also recommend I never thought I would see the day when I would ever make the switch to electric yard tools. But this was one of my best decisions yet. My old 15+ year old gas mower snapped its pull string while trying to get it to fire up and instead of fixing it, I chose to upgrade instead.*
Maybe I should apply to teach your operators how to use those wheels, you shouldn't need to get off them; not for your videos, the guy on the rider could use training as well. I'm not trying to be a jerk. I do like your wheels though, I really want to try them out and give them a go.
I watch a lot of mowing on UA-cam. While the things you're saying are true to a point they can also be done just as easily I've seen with 0 turns and stand on mowers. In the videos I watch on UA-cam the people that are doing the mowing do the same things that you're describing and they don't have a walk behind with a sulky. I guess it comes down to are you lazy or not.
Or, you could be a good operator and know your equipment. Give me a ZTR worth spitting at (scag...not xmark) and ill out cut your "pro" walk behind mowers.
@@yzrippin Both ate good machines, but for what I did Scag worked best. Both mowers cut fantastic for yard work, finish work or light commercial. But Scag is built a bit tougher and can take more abuse. I use to cut 10-20 yards a day, 2-3ft tall grass and the scag did it very well. I'd also frequently clear woods debris with it (not recommended for any mower). If you're gonna be doing bush hog work with your mower or be very abusive with your machine, Scag is the at to go. Xmark doesn't take the abuse as well. And that's not a bad thing, don't get me wrong.
Idk... that guy looked pretty happy when he ran over that paper on the rider... I think I'm sold!

:58 that's operator error, need to use both levers. 1 forward 1 reverse.
How about a 3 point turn? Their arguments are silly
That guy also made a proper zero turn and kept the wheel moving slightly
This video is awesome! Thank you!
fantastic product!
Notice the wheel on the walk behind wasn’t locked up during that turn but the ZTR did
i mean he did say that
@@lilbigGermhis point is that's operator error the operator kept the lever right on the center while the stand on he kept the lever slightly forward so the wheel doesn't lock up I have both and they both do it if you lock it up
I use my walk behind to cut the lawns in, then jump on my ZTR!
This may be the most ridiculous video about mowers I've ever seen.
Customer perspective my butt!! I’ll sit on a walker all day if I want to.
Would be nice to see a 500 series video. Not sure as to advantages for the price increase over 200 and 360 series.
Your comment is the only reason I’m here.

What price in Karnataka India
Thanks for this.
Seems cumbersome, scag got it right with the V ride.
Will the Stand On Caddy rotate while the rider is standing on it while going in reverse?
yes, that's why the guy in the video steps off
You can go in reverse without breaking your ankles but you have to know exactly what you’re doing
This video has a good product though.
I want one!!!
Nothing like blowing grass in beds
@2:03 "The ZTR is abusive to shrubs and the operator" hahaha
#metoo
Can this work with belt drive mowers?
yes
Would it be possible to mount to the smaller frame exmark walk behinds? (Vik.Met.)
kageinnovation thank you, will be ordering soon! 🙂
That guy laughed when he hit the piece of paper. You can spend 20 bucks on some grabbers to pick up trash on a sit down
Hi
Can I get this in the Uk 🇬🇧 if so how much please . Cheers Paul

all these are false but you need to learn how to do a rolling turn with all styles of machines

Bet that felt good chopping up the trash...lol
The stander couldn’t hold the slope because of a fertilizer product
That was also not even their picture, that was Stanley Genadeks photo after the fertilized hill incident.

i mean i get the sentiment but it takes like 5 mins to pull the cover off, tie a new string on and put it back together
Hey Kage y'all want to send me one of those to test out and tell everyone how good they are?
They did that mud hole with the zero turn was so fake
I like the idea just too much $579

Why the obviously photoshopped sulky @:36 ?
old fashioned
Being on your phone while mowing at the same time is stupid. people don't do that. at least people that work for companies.

What issues are you having with the sulky? If you call us we would be happy to help find a solution.
Are you kidding? What a waste of time for me. Not even the right mower. Bleh for you buddy
stay off sulkies..they destroy your knees. Better off walking or on a mower designed with a standing platform. Just dont, please.
If you keep your legs straight all the time then it bad for your knee. I bend my legs alitte bit so it doesnt hurt my knee
Just have a good sulky
@@travis10ist No there are forces on your knee in every axis possible and its not good.
