@Daniel Downs 😐 I never thought there’d be a day where I have to explain the Travis Barker/DJAM plane crash. Barker and DJAM played a show together and were taking off. Due to pilot error and maintenance issues the plane crashed. Barker and DJAM were the only survivors but they each suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns. DJAM had been a recovering addict at the time of the crash and had even pitched an intervention type show to MTV which subsequently filmed after the crash. It became very clear during filming that DJAM was struggling with his addictions. It’s been reported that the pain pills he was prescribed after the crash and anti anxiety meds to help with his fear of flying definitely caused DJAM to relapse into his addiction. During filming of his show he had several moments and even days before his death when his manager and sponsor checked in on him, it was very clear he was in the throes of his addiction to pills, and crack cocaine. Ultimately DJAM overdosed in his apartment from a combination of drugs. He was 36.

for sure when i saw his house from the inside and out, the video itself and house tour gave me early 2003 or 2004 vibes haha. I could even tell that the surveillance tv he had was definitely old and hardly anybody has those tv’s anymore either. Now we hardly ever see these homes looking like this anymore unless people haven’t updated their homes from the early 2000s to now with all the today’s trends/styles that we now see in today’s new homes.
