Beau looks magnificent. He looks very accurate in how he was seen in big world big adventures. The face is great, the details are amazingly phenomenal, and it looks great.

I never expected Bachmann to make a model of Beau. Even though this is pre-existing tooling of a character that isn’t really well known, they still put their effort into making an accurate model of this guy. I’m impressed with that.
After you got Beau, it's a good thing you let Milo operate him and another western locomotive The General, but it's surprisingly faster than Beau.
Remember the general is an older tooling to beau, The general has faster and motor gearing to and beau new Bachmann newer tools

He’s finally here. And seeing as he is the frist Thomas bachmann engine with a operating headlight is pretty amazing.

Beau is one of the most unexpected characters to get a model ever but wow! He looks absolutely stunning Bachmann really knocked it out of the park with him!

Beau is the first locomotive made in the line to be a one-off character, rather than a major or regularly recurring character.
Seeing double headers with this guy would be awesome!
That is probably the easiest Bachmann old timey 4-4-0 to DCC as it’s just one of them with the face on it. It looks good, now if they’d do Murdoch or Sam.

This is actually the first toy of Beau to be released. They did make a Wood version of him, but that never came out.

If beau is a retool of the 4-4-0 could you just swap bodies and give beau the dcc sound from the dcc sound version or the 4-4-0s? Or have they changed it enough where you cant.
