I spent 19 hours in Kanyakumari in December and covered the top 5 things.
Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of India, the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, is as fascinating as it sounds. And is also is a famous Hindu pilgrim centre because of many places of worship. Kanyakumari is popular amongst tourists, Devotees, photographers and nature lovers alike.
This place has an amazing view of the ocean everywhere.

Beautiful video of Kanyakumari. It is short but details. But we must know why the name of the Goddess Kanyakumari of Parvati or Aparna. There was arrangement of marriage between Parvati and Shiva but when Shiva was coming to marry and on the other hand Parvati was ready in bridal dress with a garland in hand then Shiva fell asleep on the way then was afternoon time and by a conspiracy made by Narod Muni there a cock crawed loudly and Lord Shiva woke up and thought that it was now dawn and he didn't turn up at the place of marrige due to this time mistake on the other hand Goddess Parvati was waiting and waiting for Shiva but ultimately the marriage didn't take place and She remained unmarried therefore Kanya (daughter or girl) Kumari (Unmarried) name originated. @@rishabhjasrotia2036 we paid around 15k for two rooms for one night! The room had a little sea view but right outside the room there was a full view! Also, When we went they were making villas which might have a sea view! Check out their website

Is there any particular dress code for male and female in temple?
For male - they need to be bare Chested!
For females - I was in jeans and t shirt and could go in without any hassle. But to be on safer side - avoid shorts.
