Royal Enfield saw a need in the market for an urban cruiser, and this is the result: the Thunderbird 350X. It gets a similar drive line as the regular Thunderbird 350, but there are a few changes. One, it is available in bright, single-tone colors in the same vein as the Classic Redditch series. The 350X is available in red or white. The handlebar is a flatter, wider one, which should help with maneuverability in the city. It gets all-black treatment, which extends to the alloy wheels. This is the first time a Royal Enfield has been shipped with alloy wheels and tubeless tires from the factory. It gets the same 346cc carburetor single-cylinder air-cooled engine from the Thunderbird 350. It generates 19.8bhp and 28Nm and transmits it via a five-speed gearbox. The wheels are a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear. There are disc brakes at both ends, with a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear one. The seat of the Thunderbird 350X has been changed - it is a more modern-looking one. The rider’s seat is wider, and the pillion seat is smaller.

Guru ji, i have been using TB350X for the last 4/5 months. I had earlier asked you a few questions regarding this bike for clearing my doubts. And you had answered all my questions along with valuable suggestions. However, after a few short trips and a long trip, i came to the conclusion that the straight handlebar of TBX would be suitable only for shorter rides and for taller people like you ( my height is 5'5"). Then i installed the original 'ape' handlebar of old TB, and now i feel it's more comfortable than the straight one, be it a city ride or a longer one through the highways. Also, i had to adjust the rear view mirrors. I hope, my experience might be useful to some riders, if not to all.
One more thing, before installing the chrome- finished 'ape' handlebar of old TB, i searched for a black one, since that would be more suitable for the black out theme of the bike. But unfortunately, i found no such handlebar as reliable as the one i have installed. And now i find it not at all odd looking, since there are several touches of chrome throughout the bike.

I also noticed this during test drive... I am planing to buy with straight handle and then put only Thunderbird handle but sales report said if I do then this will nullify warranty... So what's your suggestion

Hi Bro, Which one to buy Classic 350 or Thunder Bird 350X. I have so much interest on Classic 350 rather than thunder 350X because of its Retro look & Bullet riding Feeling. Happy to see the video, I have TBX 350 white, I brought on may, I have faced many problems..
1. Fuel tank sound (loose fitting)
2. Engine noise (abserved in neutral)
3. While leaving clutch tak tak sound
4. Fuel gauge showing wrong.
I went to service centre, they are seriously don't know how to solve the issues. Very much frustrated, very much bad experience, still I have driven only 2000 km, I have spent almost 2.1 lakh.
My intension is, everybody should know about this, still it's not solved..but one thing I love this bike.. because of outlook and sound..
