LHs has a long way to go to compare with college level performances . They don't have to, so.....I am a prior rifle girl from the early 1980's. It was a lot different then. We didn't buy our performances or rifle/flag routines. Our band director wrote everything and suggested our moves. Otherwise, we did all ourselves.
Thanks for your comment. I have found college marching bands have a much different philosophy than high school and really don't warrant comparison. Any Lincoln high student (9-12 grade) who plays a instrument and wants to put in the hard work and dedication it takes to perform their show can participate. LHS band shows are created locally through a collaborative process between the directors, drill writer, arranger, color guard and drum line technicians and not purchased.
This show destroyed anything else on the field that year. I still come back and watch it all the time.
Thanks!
The beginning gives me 1996 Blue Devils vibes!
holy fuck

@@lincolnbandmom2 The music is from the 1996 Blue Devil's show. Interesting to hear a different take on it with woodwinds and singing.
