Thank you
الشرح ضخم جدا
ممتنة شكرا
perfection !
Thank you !
Excuse me Dr. Afnan
I just want to remind you that you have to remove retainer first, then band and keep the wedge til you finish everything and then remove it
Thank you for your comment. Correct, that is one of the methods to remove the retainer and band. We remove the wedge first when it is tightly adapted to the band, then remove the band and can reinsert the wedge if separation is needed between the teeth.
In the book references it is not mentioned the sequence in details, the most important fact is to remove the band in an occlusiobuccal direction.
I apologize for not responding earlier as I have health issues preventing me for keeping us at this time. Thank you again.
🌸💖❣️استغفرالله ❣️💖🌸
ممتنة لك 🌹🌷
ممنون جدا دكتورة في عندي سوال sometimes band goes downward during condensation of amalgam which create problem in a way i cant overfill in marginal ridge area any tips to avoid that
عفوا.
When that happens it may be because the band is not tight enough. This can happen with old retainers that ware out a little with time. To overcome it, l when you tighten the band, try to keep your fingers on the top and bottom of the refiner head to keep it in the location you need, while tightening the inner knob to adjust the band around the tooth, do not tighten it the whole way, stop and retighten the outer knob to make sure the band is kept tight, and then go and continue tightening the inner knob. You can alternate between those two knobs as needed.
In this video I held the band only from the top, if you would like me to show you how, send me a msg on telegram so I can record a short video and share in on the telegram channel.
Another reason may be that the wedge is not the correct size, when the band is tight and the wedge is the correct size it will not allow the band to move during condensation.
Try it and let me know..
@@drafnanoalzain how to get your telegram dr
And thanks Alot

1. Proper precontouring of the matrix band to form a proper contour of the restoration.
2. 1 mm below the gingival margin providing a proper gingival seal.
3. 1-2 mm above the gingival margin.
@@drafnanoalzain pre contouring ليه زي ما حضرتك شرحتي في الفيديو ولا هيختلف؟؟
