LAST BIG THING I FORGOT! TCG Player will have Shadowverse Evolve at launch and is already appearing on the site! At least in the states this will be huge for picking up singles to finish a deck. Just got back from giving the starter decks a test drive at a local. It's pretty fun. I kinda vibe with Dragon, Rune, and Abyss (funnily enough my main is also Rune, Dragon, and Blood in the OCG). I'm definitely ordering a starter deck. Probably will only follow the English side, but if that didn't work out, there is apparently a Japanese side that's working out pretty well here in Jakarta. I think the price played a large factor, as well as the digital game being pretty well-known in SEA or Asia in general.
@19:35 For the past few regional that were done by Bushiroad (Cardfight Vanguard & Weiss), the Top 3 players from each regional qualified for Worlds. However, only the winner from each regional was given a sponsored trip. 2nd & 3rd place had to pay for their expenses themselves.
Yeaaah, i played vg for about 11 years. The game has gone completely off the deep end recently. V is dead, D is getting dumb slowly but surely just like the other formats before they rebooted, and premium is just ride down/not attacking. They need to make changes in EVERY format, especially now. they're competing with alot of games as of late.
That's what I'm saying. My locals (and I'm in a huge city) have killed off Bushi games, including Vanguard, which is sad. One Piece is above VG which bothers me so damn much 😪
Same here getting a case and all six starters. Digimon is my main game but Shadowverse Evolve looks like it will easily be my second but so close to my first. The art the gameplay the cards everything I can’t wait for June 30th!!
I just decided i want to play it. One piece is my main game but my 2nd game digimon is getting stale for me and i don't enjoy it much anymore. I have a group of friends that play this game and there's at least 10 of us in the area that play so it's enough for tournaments. However the store that would host the tournaments don't have product.
I might bought this for collection since like many artist like Galmieux and Tidal gunner artist since no playing SV here in my place. As a YGO player, SV is a breath of fresh air.
Getting 1 of each starter deck and 10 booster boxes so I can share with friends. Closest store to me is 45 minutes away which stinks as I have 2 within 5 minutes from me but they won’t pick the game up because it won’t be “profitable”.
I played the digital version and honestly it's a solid game. But since it's also gacha to get card and i just play whenever i'm in the mood for it, it's honestly really hard to catch up with the new meta & archetype. So this physical version intrigued me, hopefully the tokens are not annoying to play with.
So far, the only negative thing about the game I experience is the difficulty to stand up to Dragoncraft, which is just a skill issue on my part as a Forestcraft user if I'm being honest. And yes it's too early but overall, I do love how Shadowverse Evolve is right now and I am excited to see how the game will progress as time goes by.
You say cheap but oh man to build a competitve deck is about $300 in my area. Thats for Dragoncraft. Too many waifus and too expensive, its another vanguard to me which is sad because i love both these games
Prices right now are over inflated due to stores not initially ordering enough product. If you bought before the spike, dragon was only around 150 and sword was 40. Prices will come back down in the following weeks for sure since the organized play for the first year is lacking
@KozmicPlays I hope so, but I feel like the game will suffer because it's a Bushiroad game. Don't get me wrong, I love Bushi games, especially the Buddyfight and Vanguard, but Holy hell, the prices of their games, especially for singles, are outrageous 😅 I hope I'm wrong cuz Battle Spirits and SVE are two games I really don't want to fail!
We will get set 1 right before set 6 launches in JP. However it looks like we won’t get the collab set so it’s closer to 4 sets and we are already seeing some EN exclusive things with box toppers and sleeves. Have to wait for more info to see what other changes might pop up
Starter decks feature exclusive cards that are remain staples for over a year. Lucky that you only need to buy one starter deck per leader to get a full set of that card. Plus, a leader card is mandatory for official play which come in the starter decks, so either way it’s a must buy

Considering Bushi's already tarnished rep, and their already on their 3rd strike track record, Shadowverse Evolve's future as a TCG is GRIM.

Bushiroad games scares me. Dragoborne is an example. Cygames gives me a small amount of hope.
They are only publishing and distributing. all the game design and whatnot is done by cygames. Shadowverse is thier IP.

Set 1 is 20 boxes because it’s a larger set, but after that it’s 16
I've been waiting for this game for awhile, haha. Hopefully, where I'm at, there'll be a decent following for it.
