*What we are witnessing here is the rarest of law enforcement phenomenons* :
When testifying against a civilian, law enforcement is able to recall with certainty every detail needed to find you guilty right down to the color of your shoelaces or the length of your finger nails. But when law enforcement itself is under investigation, law enforcement memories suddenly and mysteriously become vague, foggy, non-specific and noncommittal - as we see in the answers given by this captain ➤
    1:49 _"If I remember correctly"_ ,
    2:18 _"I presume "_ ,
    2:24 _"I presume"_ (again),
    2:50 _"I don't know"_ ,
    3:39 _"If I remember correctly"_ ,
4:04 _"I know _*_at some point_*_ Eric was there. _*_I don't know_*_ if he was there when I first got there or if he come later"_ ,
    4:13 _"If I remember correctly"_ ,

    4:28 _"pretty sure"_ ,
    4:39 _"pretty sure"_ (again),
4:41 _" _*_it seemed to me_*_ like he and Josh Clower were sitting on the edge of the porch _*_or something_*_ "_ ,

I get it that everyone wants to trash the police and that’s great if that’s what you want. But for you to sit there and pretend either hes lying about his behavior that night or that he can’t testify because he doesn’t remember you should think first. It only has the side effect of not remembering IF he is drinking and taking his medication WHILE he’s talking to someone or trying to remember if he has done something. As long as he doesn’t work and drink hes ok. I don’t understand why you have to have such a shitty attitude towards law enforcement. There are bad cops, but there are also bad surgeons, lawyers, doctors, drivers, parents, and anything else in this world. Damn that shouldn’t be such a hard thing to understand. Treat others how you wanna be treated. Were you all not taught that as a kid?

7:13 - He has no recollection of her sitting on his lap. You would think a drunk female subordinate sitting on your lap for *any* reason would be something etched in your memory (Unless, of course, they do this so often it's just a matter of routine).
As such, his admission to an alcohol-induced black out of this event should be a red flag for either:
    ➤ A) He's lying, or
➤ B) *He has a very serious alcohol abuse problem* requiring professional intervention.
For liability reasons alone his employer should have him tested for elevated levels of serum enzymes to establish if he does, in fact, have an alcohol abuse problem.
I wonder if this department administers *random* alcohol and drug testing. If they don't, they should now.

6:10 The investigator asks, _"in your observations did you see anybody that you would have considered to be intoxicated - not safe to drive?"_
It took this captain *a full 26 seconds* to come up with this evasive, non-answer ➤
6:36 _"if anybody was overly intoxicated it wasn't apparent to me"_
He didn't answer the question. The question wasn't whether somebody appeared _"overly intoxicated"_ . The question was, "did anybody appear to be too intoxicated to drive." Not surprisingly, the investigator let him slide on this non-answer.

Here Captain Al Cohol admits to having extended periods of blackouts in his past caused by mixing his prescribed medications with alcohol . . . yet he still chooses to consume alcohol? This is called a clue on _how to spot an alcoholic_ .
14:28 Investigator: _"it's been brought to my attention you have a medical condition that requires you to take medication and I'm just going to ask if you had experienced, in the past, the medication mixture with alcohol and you're losing or not remembering things."_
14:53 Captain Al Cohol: _"that is the case"_

I realized about a week ago that I've been driving around with an expired tag on my car. I took care of it without getting pulled over although I was watching for police everywhere I went. I don't know why I was so worried, I could have easily said that I forgot. No big deal.
These two male cops helped the female drunk cop to her room and put her to bed just because they were all such good friends. They were such good friends that they also grabbed a pants leg each and helped take her pants off. This is beyond the call of duty. These two dummies need to take a few notes from an older guy. Just because a female sits on your lap and lays her head on your shoulder doesn't mean she wants you. SHE'S DRUNK! And just because she wants to sleep with no pants doesn't mean she wants to screw around. SHE'S DRUNK! That doesn't give you a right to take advantage of her like you were hoping to get by with. In my opinion, everyone involved needs to learn to control their alcohol and not put themselves in this type situation in the first place. Apparently these two were thinking with the wrong head and never thought that she might complain later about waking up with no pants. I don't know if she complained or not but they should have known that she might. Women don't think like guys do and at their age, they should know that. And, I get tired of people using the "we were all drunk" excuse. Lets see if their wives buy that excuse when they hear they took the female co-worker's pants off. My wife wouldn't, I'd be in the dog house for a long time.

Although this seems to be something that “a hand up the shirt” of another cop gets a lot more investigation than a cop killing an innocent civilian. It should all be investigated this much

My goodness how can they remember anything with all that alcohol there. You got this guy with 2 gallons of homemade wine. The other guy has a 12 pack and a bottle of moonshine. Plus whatever alcohol they were buying at the place. Ridiculous! Do they honestly believe that anyone watching this won’t put two and two together. Everyone is downplaying this party and minimizing their involvement. “ oh no LT we were all able to drink and drive and no one tickled anyone’s balls” Get for real…And then he transported 2 gallons of wine in a taxpayers vehicle to a supervisors retreat then proceeded to give half a gallon of wine, (open container) to his police buddy who transported that to his or her home. I am sure taxpayers also paid for the gas of the county/city vehicle he took. BLOWS MY MIND!

I was once arrested and went to court and mentioned to the public defender how nice the cop was to me and she said “that cop is not your friend”,
I was annoyed and she saw it then she got annoyed that I was annoyed dripped her own on the table locked eyes with me and said “listen Joey do you remember your friendly conversation with the arresting officer?”I said yea, then she said “well listen to me now don’t say a word”
I said ok lay it on me and she said “did you by chance talk about old charges and some other things and I said how do you know that and she said “because he was not trying to be your buddy and every word you said down to the little things that mean NOTHNG were put into this report and I can tell you the entire conversation you had with this cop and he didn’t miss a single word and he used every word you said against you even the stuff that didn’t matter just in case it helps him get you convicted which is all he cares about he’s not your buddy no cop is or ever will be your buddy.
Now we get to this guy who knows and remembered NOTHNG but they can recall every “is” “I” and “the” when getting a person charged but not if they break the law they all of a sudden have a case of Alzheimer’s!
All they care about is meeting the monthly quota, your freedom means nothing to them .

I used to party…like really party. After work, weekends all the time, with people like car salesmen, heavy equipment salesmen, trucking industry sales and management staff… titty bars, gram of coke in everybody’s pocket, getting hammered and occasional fights, often due to the frequent drunken banging resulting from obviously terrible decisions…. So I don’t judge these people as harshly as some do. …until I think about the taxes taken from the communities they’re supposed to serve being spent on them being there. It’s difficult to get anything useful out if a lot of b.s. “leadership conferences” and admin type training crap when you’re focused and determined…it’s impossible to gain anything from crappy training like that when you’re hung over. So that was many tens of thousands of dollars wasted there I’m sure. I don’t judge coos for getting drunk sometimes. I know the stress and some of the difficult stuff some cops see and deal with. No b.s., it’s legit not easy to deal with sone things especially if you work in the hood. But not an excuse for being a full on alcoholic or a liar. But what burns me most on crap like this is these cops are nearly all drunken degenerates no better, and arguably worse that most of the “lowlife peasants” they enjoy catching doing anything remotely similar to what they were all doing there, but on the clock, they’d all get super self-righteous and claiming their moral superiority and make a point to find any and every possible way to further jamb up Joe Schmoe and wreck his life as much as possible…and if the dare to speak loudly and slurring, and repeat themselves, they might get roughed up a bit too, because they annoyed the officer, and they deserve it…. But idk if you’ve ever been around drunk cops, but they can be the most obnoxious, belligerent, out of control drunks you’ll ever see. But they’ll get in some dudes face for grabbing a tall boy after a 12 hr shift shoveling sewage by a boiler listening to babies scream…and he gets screamed at and thrown around because he’s a piece of trash trying to kill children n stuff. They look down on the lowly commoners who they see as the enemy when they’re actually bigger scumbags and degenerates than a good percentage of the people they arrest…. And this proves it…

"I could not imagine that" is a non comital, qualifying statement. during interrogation, an answer like that will absolutely be zeroed in on by detectives. Nobody asked what you can or cannot imagine. You were asked if you put your hands up someone shirt. This whole "cant imagine" is nonsense.

How convenient, I noticed another officer brought his wife and kids into the picture on several occasions for the purpose of redirecting the focus of the investigations off of him. Well I am just an innocent devoted family man.
