Andy Dalton getting the opportunity to stick the fork in the Bengals' season is some real poetry. Going to be interesting to see if his performance last Sunday was an aberration or if Bryce Young was really holding the team back that much
What in the H are you talking about they didn't treat Dalton bad , he reached his ceiling and couldn't get to the championship round of the playoffs or superbowl... your comment is ridiculous
I never thought caleb wouldn't be succesful, I just think he is harder to get along with. During the draft I thought it was odd that caleb was only congratulated by one guy in the room, nobody else even looked at him. For most of the others in the draft, everyone would congraulate them, and the contrast to JD when his name was called tells a lot. Im gettin russell wilson locker room vibes in chicago
By far the best NFL analyst podcast out there, Chris & Ahmed are the best. My question for Chris (as an aspiring GM) would be: How can NFL owners/GMs avoid situations like what we've seen with Brandon Aiyuk CeeDee Lamb, where they demand money & hold out in the preseason& training camp, only to underperform, leaving less money to be spent on arguably more deserving players, like Jauan Jennings in SF or Tyler Lockett in SEA? Seems like a diva problem that has only gotten worse in recent years. Thanks and love the pod, guys!
Players will have that leverage unless the CBA changes. Players know if they get a new deal and they are under their rookie deal that any fines for missing practices can be waived (I know they held in and players aren't fined until a couple days before week 1 if they hold in). They held in and both sides understand the deadline so deadlines spur action so I dont see how that can be avoided really.
I honestly never noticed Chris tapping on the table. My lord people, you're getting free infotainment here and you wanna complain about tapping on the table?
I love how before the season everyone is like no rookie QB has ever come into as good of a situation as Caleb. Everyone is like Jayden situation not as good, team around him not as good. Now Jayden's situation is much better than Caleb's. Same thing before the start of last season, the Texans had the worst roster in the NFL everyone said. Panthers failed Bryce Young they have no weapons then you plug a journey man backup and he looks like Drew Brees.
Bad O-line play in Chicago, Caleb threw for 320 and 2tiddies last week. he’ll be fine although i’m worried he’ll ever reach the potential i thought he had (especially if he gets in bad habits like flushing the pocket early or looking down at the rush) JDaniels looks incredibly confident and sure of himself. i think JDaniels could be better than Lamar if he gets paired with the right HC/OC edit- bryans1883. we posted at the EXACT SAAME TIME SAYING ALMOST SAME WTF
I must have missed something I saw Lamar running past Micah everytime only one time did Micah catch him and it’s cause someone else was in front of Lamar and Lamar went out of bounds
Hey Chris and Ahmed! First time UA-cam commenter, gotta ask why the jaguars refuse to utilize Brian Thomas? Seems like he’s constantly open and is clearly a better athlete than Kirk and Gabe. Feels like Pederson is “managing” him and doesn’t feel a need to win now
@@garnetbarnsdale9277 I personally wouldnt be down but eventually a team with talent and has good coaching (on at least one side of the ball( could create issues for them. The Bills have very good coaching but to expect that to hide weaknesses or concerns on the team all year is very unlikely.

Totally agree about these QBs getting paid. The chart so simple are you better Joe? Allen? Mahomes? No you’re not ok well your getting less when they get a raise you’ll get a raise
The Ravens are going to continue to struggle this year. They have the easiest tell on offense in the NFL. Oline in a 3 point stance for run and 2 point stance for pass. Elementary stuff going on
I'm a believer in caleb williams but it's wild that all I heard all off-season was how caleb was going into the best situation a 1st pick has EVER gone into. Look at all the talented revievers they got him, they weren't that bad last year, etc. And now it's Jayden Daniel's has the better support system. With the dysfunctional Washington team that was the true 2nd worst team when the bears were like 9th or something. Crazy
Washington MUST protect their defense with their offense. The D will continue to give up 'explosives' so JD5 and company need long drives and TDs to be competitive.
"One of the greatest in the History of Football?" Tom Brady. Joe Montana. Terry Bradshaw. Patrick Mahomes all three plus SB wins. Is Allen on that list? Or did I miss something? Stop being a Pressed Fan Boy Chris. it's embarrassing on you.
lol those are legendary quarterbacks on great organizations. I hate Josh Allen but that team isn’t a world beater, they’re getting carried by Josh and finally feeding Cook
@@Itachi-xi9sl Fine but that does not remotely justify anointing Josh Allen one of the greatest QB's in history. Not even close. It is an absurd statement. Period.

so much goes into off the field too which is so hard for the public/media to gauge
they play on sundays but those dudes are together Tues-Fri
Lol, that song was crazy.

Simms hasnt stopped making up words, and he should NOT stop banging the table. Say no to peer pressure
Simms inventing words is some of the best content ever.

He means Chris is an aspiring GM. He says he wants to be one eventually.
I don't mind the desk pounding and don't know why people care. It's funny. This is Chris Simms Unbuttoned, not the evening news.
it's annoying as F when listening with ear buds

They're so whiny haha.
keep doing it i like it tbh

💯
Caleb didnt play great but 350 2 tds and 2 picks is not bad. Let's let the season play out before you try to compare Caleb and Bryce Young.

only thing i got is it’d been weeks 1-3 (early type bs excuse)

Andy Dalton's throw to Adam thielen for the touchdown was the best throw of the week but Jaden Daniels definitely comes in second on that
Justin Tucker has the yips.
Give Chris some fluffy gloves
Steelers are 3-0? No love anywhere…I love it
crazy you gotta watch for 110 min before the seahawks are mentioned lmao

Broncos will win the division this year!!! KC 3-0 right now, and the Broncos are 1-2 now but Broncos will win the division
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jalen Carter is quite immature.
So many bad HCs in the NFL, but Zac Taylor is definitely the worst 💩 He should have been fired, a long time ago
Compared to Doug pederson id say he’s doing amazing 😂
11-26 Matt Eberflus says hi
The worst head coach is the lingering ghost of Brandon Staley. That's how bad he was, he still has stank on that field!
T Law could be the most overrated quarterback and possibly most overrated NFL player in the last millennium.
i don't understand why they gave him that much, who were they bidding against????
