Those wanting to do this on a 2004 Chevy Silverado this does not work what does work is you open your fuse box in the hood find fuse box near battery Locate fuse that says IPC/DIC its a 10 amp fuse . Disconnect turn on Truck for about 45 seconds you will notice that nothing on your instrument cluster will work , Turn off truck and replace fuse this should now clear your Service Tire Monitor ......Worked like a charm found it on another forum good luck!

I did it step by step as well and it didn't work.. at first then I left the key to Acc (1 click before starting) followed the steps again leaving the key in that Acc position and it worked! I did it on a GMC Yukon 2005 might help others trying this tip. Thank you for this, Kronic-hold!
My 04’ Yukon said check tire pressure, this cleared it but I had a flashing tire light still. Simply turning key off to on 3x then starting cleared that light and all set. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks !! That was so simple. dealer wanted $400 for that. I just had new tires with TPMS sensors installed but that "Service Tire Monitor" still stayed on. I never had any the little TPMS orange light on problem (unless I had a low tire). So my problem was just that "Service Tire Monitor" on info display. Once more thanks so much, no one else I talked to knew anything about it except the one that wanted $400.
This didn't work on my 2004 gmc yukon xl. Yes it cleared the "service tire monitor system" message. But after driving for 10 minutes the message came back on.
This is part of it sometimes you have to let air out of each tire starting with the front driver side then the front passenger the rear passenger then driver side rear. Horn will beep once for each tire. That’s how I got it to work for me. Be sure to have air close by to fill up to correct PSI.
I have a 2009 Chevy Tahoe it's still difficult to get it to re learn everyone's trying to change me 200-500 for sensors and for them to put them on screw that any help anyone??
@@juansaid3100 i dont understand what parking pedal have something to do with the 4wd ? My mechanic told me to try to change the switch cs i did everything but that so hope me good luck
apply the parking brake and see if the light indicator is ON....in mine the light dis not work and it caused the impossibility to reset the tire monitor , There is a switch on parking brake pedal ....im not talking about the 4x4.

Your TPMS sensors that's on your valve stems has a "watch battery" style battery, they give up after awhile and die

I solve mine, Check the parking light on dashboard...mine didn't go ON and the parking pedal switch was the issue..
