I recommend keeping the common monsters because you can breed a rare and common of the same type to 100% guarantee that monster. It will be very useful for islands like celestial and amber where you need multiple of the same monsters to teleport them to.
Having a regular and a rare is great, you can breed them which makes it easier to breed for those specifics. Also get the tree of unity for each island so the placement of each monster won't matter and they will always be happy.
They updated wubbox recently to the point where that the wubbox became as quiet as Rare wubbox because of the back lash of wubbox ruining the songs, since all he was was dubstep, which ruined the themes of the islands, because of course; the community wanted the islands to be different, so for wubbox to just rule over the whole song with his loud sounds, of course they had to make quiet
I really recommend making a Entbrat farm on your mirror plant island. It gives a LOT of gold so you don’t need to spend so much money on gold. Hope this helps!

It'll be fun to watch you gradually build up all of the islands over a grandeur of episodes-- the main island alone has almost 60 different Monsters to collect, with more to come!

I reccomend focusing on gold island in goals it will give you a few million gold for every monster placed (1,2,3 elements 1mil 4 element 3 mill) and can help with getting a few wubboxes also it sounds pretty fire along the way.

You can breed the same monsters together to get a guaranteed monster but one has to be rare or common to be bred or epic and Rare, you just have to mix the same monster with a diffrent rarity
If you want to decorate the islands off camera, you can put the percussion monsters on one side and the singing/ vocal monsters on the other. Example … percussion can be noggin and the singing monster would be furcorn.
Heres something u should know the when the normal wubbox knuckle bumps their fist it makes sounds too like a clank or click kind part of their first part of the song as for the rare and epic that does the same idk if they make the sound as well ik just the normal ones first makes the sound

The wubbox isnt quiet, it’s just the fact that you have multiple of the same monsters together which makes them louder, thus drowning out his sound
