@@monroemann Well so far Dublin, Belgrade, Nîs, Sofia, London, Barcelona now, Amsterdam. Right now trying to book a flight to Dahab Egypt for tomorrow. The price is right but all week the flights arrive at 12am-2am. I’m nervous to come into the airport that late/early.
Great job man, wait til you do a Hot Air Balloon jump and a Helicopter Jump! Then the greatest thing ever - Wingsuiting! Basically your gliding across the earth 🌎 like 3 things. Like a bird, a plane and like Superman 🦸♂️ it doesn't even feel real, like a video game or a movie! 😃
That’s been my inspiration all along: to one day fly a wingsuit. Just 192 jumps to go (I had a false start 10 years ago). How high are helicopter jumps usually from? And hot air balloons? Funny: Im a bit squeamish about going into a hot air balloon. But… if I have a parachute on my back, I think I’ll feel safer. :)
@@monroemann helicopter 🚁 jump is from 6500 feet and I did it in Sebastian, Florida. Hot Air Balloon was in Perris, California and was from around the same height 6000 ft. Both were unbelievable, on the Heli jump I just fell backwards, did a flip and was perfectly balanced in freefall like nothing, like I had done it a thousand times.
You slow down from 120 MPH to about 20 MPH. The wind noise disappears. You’re sitting in your harness slowly gliding forward at about 5000 feet altitude. You test and inspect the parachute to be sure it functions properly. Then you find your landing zone and start steering there. You stay in your holding area until 900 feet then begin your final approach. You land into the wind.
Whoah
Proud of you Monroe
Great job
Hopefully, you had an unforgettable experience
Thanks Riya! Sure was. And just the beginning I hope. :)
Thanks for watching and sharing a comment!
Cool man....first time skydiving and already signed up to be an instructor, wow
Haha.
So Garth’s where have your travels taken you now? Tell me all the cities you’ve been to.

I’m very happy for you Monroe. What was the kind of experience you’d after you’ve opened your parachute??

And thanks for the kudos Ismail! :)
