Great production and great poem, thank you. I appreciate the clarification but would you consider removing the video or editing it? Not everyone will read your note. Also, not sure if it was just me but there is a lot of white noise in the in the 1st half of the video which makes your voice not come through clearly, just a side note :).
Earlier this year I watched this and I found the answers to my questions,before I watched this I was an atheist. I didn't believe inGod.This brought me to Christ🙌🏻Now looking back months later I am in tears of happiness because of the work of Christ has done in my life.Watching this was the start of my walk with God.JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY

If there is no God, then what I say about myself is true subjectively. You can call me something from your subjective view and claim to be true. If there is no God everything is up for interpretation, making everything realitive. I can't live that way. There is a way to love. Nature is prone to disorder and yet we are beautifuly made, and so is our universe. I believe in a morality based on God, I believe in the Uncaused caused. I believe in Jesus through historical evidence and I have seen things I can not understand. Yeah, what do you believe?
I believe that good god from the bible will give me an option to erase myself from existence after i die rather than sending me to hell because i haven't done anything wrong except not believe in his existence.

Hi. This is a work of art and in many ways very compelling for listeners/viewers. I only have one point that I would like to raise is that in 3:56, you used the word ‘created’ for Jesus. I think that Elohim (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) exist and perhaps that word ‘created’ may not be accurate here. Maybe ‘planned’ or ‘assigned’ would be more accurate.

This was inspiring, but there should be one correction. At about 3:55 you mention that the Father created Jesus. This is not so. Jesus is God in the flesh, but not created. The belief that Jesus was created is called Arianism and is not orthodox.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things [z]hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven - Colossians 1:15-20

We absolutely agree with everything you have said here. The "creation" language was completely incidental of the poetic imagery and structure of that line. We stand fully behind the eternal existence of the Son and fully against any form of Arianism. In retrospect, this line should definitely be changed as its language could be confusing.

I was hesitant at first to say anything, but I know there are many attacks on the foundations of Christianity and was hoping to get clarification on that. As a musician, I understand the challenge to be poetic and scripturally accurate!
There is no "who am I?" David said it himself. There is no SELF. We are made of everything else. Everybody else. It's true that we won't find our identity within ourselves. Because it doesn't exist. Because it's not who you are. It's who WE are.
I don't care who you believe in religiously. Because they're all the same in the end.
This video is a reminder that whatevel labels/marks people throw at you, only God can define who you are. You woke up another day to live by His rules.

If you aren't, that's cool too. it is not my place to judge. but it literally says Spoken Word in the title. And I just want to let everyone know the God does love you. Even if you don't believe in him. He still loves you.

Jesus is the Truth. You see there must be God who created all of us because without Him, everything really does not make sense.

This video was great until you brought Jesus into it. If you wanted to say something about Jesus you should have said it in the beginning because some of us believe he does not exist. We don't want to listen to a speech that turns out to be about Jesus or god. I don't mean to hate but I feel myself and other nonbelievers think you should have said something about god in the beginning

I also thought I would share a little bit about what it means to be saved. It doesn't mean being perfect but placing your trust in Jesus who is perfect. What is below may seem obvious, but I hope it helps.
We have all done wrong things that separate us from God and earn death for us. But Jesus, who is God in the flesh, took the death our sins earned on the cross so that we could escape the punishment our wrong deeds deserve. Jesus also rose from the dead to defeat death for us and bring us near to God.
So what must you do?
The Bible says, if you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is God," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
You must believe.
Here is a larger explanation of what it means to put your trust, or belief, in Jesus from our friends at the Gospel Coalition:
"How can we be saved? Only by faith in Jesus Christ and in his substitutionary atoning death on the cross; so even though we are guilty of having disobeyed God and are still inclined to all evil, nevertheless, God, without any merit of our own but only by pure grace, imputes to us the perfect righteousness of Christ when we repent and believe in him."

Put your trust in Jesus' death and resurrection. Believe in your heart that Jesus is God in the flesh. Say a prayer to God in your own words telling him all of this.
And then, find a local church and tell them you've just put your faith in Jesus.

love the video but I am left confused by what you said that "God became like us" "because he loved us then you named Him "Jesus". (God and Jesus are two separate persons). At the beginning it says "Jesus is the son of God" "God the father" which is true but all falls apart when the you say God became flesh to save us. The scriptures says Jesus is the son of God and that God sent Him to "seek and to save that which was lost" Even Jesus says John 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of Him who sent me". Jesus did not come of his own but his father, the creator, God sent him. I am left confused by your words spoken on the video.
lupe cantu you’re confused because God and Jesus are actually part of one God. They’re separate in a way but they’re also the same. It’s like a bath tub. For a bathtub to you have three parts: the faucet, the bowl, and the drain. They’re all different parts but they make up the same machine. Jesus speaks about it in the Bible ““Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.”

He says that he and the father are one. Yes the father sent him, but they’re also a part of each other because they’re connected which is why the video says God became like us because Jesus is God. The name we use is the holy trinity. God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is also a part of God and a part of Jesus. Jesus sent him to us as an instructor and a comforter. “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”

He says it himself “I” will come to you. I know it can be a bit confusing, but I hope this helps. The holy trinity is one of those things that is hard to understand, and it doesn’t help that we’re all reading a translated version from the original Greek text. Some of the writings message doesn’t come across as well because of language barriers. It’s why we have to ask God/the spirit for an interpretation from him.
