Crazy that you can roll off all of the treble and boost the mids and get that tone. I hadn’t even tried that. I am mostly messing with the gain and treble to get what I want and the EQ is always just scooped and I play with the 750 slider a little

Hey man, awesome video, definitely subbed. Just out of curiosity, did you ever dial in a tone for Enter Sandman? Was it possible? I just got this amp and have been having a lot of trouble dialing that in. A lot of people recommended some settings (mainly eliminating mids and booming the bass) but it sounded pretty horrible. Do you think your Wherever I May Roam settings would be a good start?
    Thanks a ton man.

Thanks for the video, was thinking of switching to an Axe FX III from the Mark V, but these settings has helped me dial in a better tone.. I've spent countless hours tone hunting and can't stay satisfied with a single tone. For me, cutting the treble to 0 and compensating with gain helps a lot to get more clarity for individual notes. I get that clear Metallica percussion on single note chugging and tremolo picking. That "electric noise" you spoke of seems to have came from the treble being boosted. Very interesting amp to dial in, can't really follow the predecessors for a baseline. Anyway, thanks again, though I may still get the Axe FX for the ease of making presets for various distortions and cleans.

      Hello Brasileiro.
Thank you very much for your comment and question. Let me try to reply.
My opinion is, that you should keep your rectifier! To get a better modularity, I would buy a Mesa Boogie (or other brand) band equalizer and plug it into serial effect loop of the Rectifier. You would be surprised how much this one will change your sound. You can tweak, try, play....
      Give it a chance! :-)
