this is my absolute favorite episode of 'quiet, please'! i have such a strong memory of listening to this episode very early in the morning while playing system shock 2. I love the creepy voices of the caterpillars, as well.
I love this episode and I just listened to this on my phone while watching the real northern lights. Thanks for having this posted so I could call it up. What an experience to hear Ernest Chappell’s glorious deadpan while watching the aurora’s strange dance fill the sky.

It's one of my favorites - "Fourble Board" is still my most favorite - Quiet Please was an excellent series.
@@SuspenseESCAPEremastered Did you read my article on "Fourble Board" in "Old Radio Times"?

I would have kicked that caterpillar back to its home dimension as soon as I found out it had a singing voice like Yoko Ono!
LOL - Boy, what an insult to the caterpillar!
Excellent!
A Great otr series.
Wonderful! Even if that plot isn't that scary the acting is so damn good I can't help but be enraptured
"Quiet Please" is truly a favorite of mine - I'm glad you enjoyed it - have you listened to "The Thing on the Fourble Board?"
What's the opening/ closing theme? The melancholy piano?
At the end of one of the episodes I posted, the name of the theme is mentioned (I can't remember exactly which one) it's an old classical piece.
