Erik Satie - Gnossiennes 1-3 (played by KrystalGhostz)

I picked up these pieces again after seeing it was Erik Satie's birthday (17th May), it's a bit late but happy birthday to Satie. An eclectic composer who came from France and decided to go against the Impressionist movement in music being pushed forth by composers like Claude Debussy. His music was the starts of minimalism and ambient music with him creating many "genres" or "types" of music such as his gymnopedies and the slightly less popular gnossiennes. He described some of music as "furniture music" being only there to decorate a space. I think this music works as both ambient, background music, and also an experience that can be listened to alone. These are his three gnossiennes for solo piano.
