With regard to casting on this year’s MKAL , I had a similar thought just to show support but have refrained. I only just finished last years at end of Sept. I can relate to your desire to not make anyone feel badly that they are not attending the festivals. I understand not wanting to throw it in other’s faces that you’re going. I’m excited to see the footage and watch recaps that you and others share from Rhinebeck. And you should be super proud - your color work is so good looking, it’s a beautiful sweater. What you said about using aran or worsted wool for color work is interesting - I’m going to try that weight and see if mine improves. You should be proud, your sweater looks amazing! I think it helps to get such a good style and fit when you go back and back to a designer who you love. I don't like to have orphan yarn, so I always make sure they have a sibling or two to travel with. Have the bestest time at Rhinebeck etc.

Thanks so much! Yes i can keep that in mind for a future episode. I personally think its good to look at photos of other people that have a similar body type as you wearing the garment. That could be on something like Ravelry or Instagram.

For my leftover sock yarn, I'm gathering a little collection of them to hopefully make the Safe Space Blanket. There are other "scrappy" style projects out there that you could start using them for too. Hope that helps.

Sooooo...ooooo....oooo ummm, I guess it's a good thing I won't be at Rhinebeck.If you wear your gahjus Yesteryears, and Max wears his Yesteryear, how would I tell you apart? Especially if you're walking around with Vincent in the middle? The mind boggles! The mind reels! The mind envisions a chaotic swirl of meaningless numbers collapsing in on themselves before erupting into a spray of tiny tatters, like my bank statement folded into an origami swan then put through a crosscut shredder. The mind now apologizes and shuts up.
ETA: Max, if you read this, your Yesteryears is also gahjus!
Darlin, you are way too hard on yourself. I suspect you have no idea how often you are saying negative comments when describing yourself and your actions. You are too precious to keep doing this. It imprints on your brain and not in a good way. Btw, love your sweater and your knitting.
