The morning after my wife passed away I woke up to watch the sun rise from our backyard and played this on my guitar for hours. It's the song that God gave to tell me that she's with Him, and it's the song that I continue to pray in broken-hearted surrender. Thank you for giving me the words and chords that turn my grief to praise.
I've been baptized twice in past years, once when I was 8 and then when I was 13, and accepted Christ when I was 8 as well. In recent years I've faced temptation and lost my way. I've been in and out of depression, and had multiple physical ailments like Pots syndrome. I've ruined relationships and my faith. This week I went with my church's youth group to camp in Virginia Beach, and they played this song every night at worship and since the first time I heard it I've wanted to cry out and praise God for always healing me and always being there. I met new friends and witnessed a kid my age who happened to come along the camp during his vacation come to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior and get baptized along with several students. On Thursday I decided I would get baptized for the final time in front of my parents and friends. I cried out in joy several times that day, having my guilt and grief washed away, and knowing that I can truly trust God and that he truly loves me. My past is no longer a way to make me a victim of circumstance, but a testimony to God's loving grace.

May we ever, know this, trust this and be assured that He is always with us and in every situation we are going through. The Lord got my attention in a series of steps beginning in 2010, August 1, 2010 i was in an accident, 1 month later my dad was in a severe accident “TBI”, December 24,2010 my grandfather a pastor of nearly 53 Year’s was hospitalized and lost him January 6,2011! All seemed to slow down and was going ok until my wife became sick, what was supposed to be a simple sinus surgery turned into nearly a month in hospital, during sinus surgery which is normally out patient she coded 3 different times, doctors were not sure if she’d make it! I had called a pastor who I had known all my life and he came to the hospital standing in the window in SICU waiting room I said I would do what ever I had to do! God had my attention! In a series of events that were pretty traumatic to our family I gave my life to Jesus! For he gave all for me! Here I sit several years later with my wife who survived and we have the Lord to thank! Without him she wouldn’t be here and without him we wouldn’t have this testimony to share! We Love You JESUS
I cant explain why but this song brought me to tears, not one glistening tear, tears streaming. Wow the words are so amazing and beautiful. I'm in such darkness right now having suffered a great loss a part of me I am fighting to get back desperately. Thinking of all god did for us there are no words that exist to describe how grateful I am, makes me cry thinking of all Jesus went through.... I'm humbled by our almighty lord, I give my heart and all that I am to our savior and pray he heals my situation makes me complete and reunites me ..... I've been going through some stuff the past few years and I've not been paying attention to God. Dear brother Lasse Kogstad, Christianity is not a religion, but only way to be freed. I don't love religion, but I love God and His Words cause that's the only way I'm alive. It's true that man has corrupted the ideologies of Christ's Love and Passion for His creation, turning into a political and self-seeking business. You don't need a religion to follow God or trust Him. You're not an accidental case or not any of us was born accidentally, cause that doesn't make sense at all. You don't need eyes to see God, but all you need is an open heart to accept Him. He never forced you to love and trust Him, but still He loves you equally just like me. He loved you first. Even if you don't choose Him, He would love you, but you'd miss His eternal blessings and purpose for your life. So, just try once to seek Him and taste Him. The Bible say, "Taste and See that the Lord is good." People of that religion may have killed many, but not God. He never told anyone to follow Hypocrisy, but men themselves did.
