Has your system been tested by any extended power outages? I just purchased an inverted from Giandel a model with 2200watts for my Zoeller 1/3 hp sump pump. It worked for about 10 minutes and then displayed error message. Support tech said they thought the amperage draw may have been too high...listed at 6.8 amps...they said startup amps may have been much higher...
I had the same thing happen, also with a Zoeller 1/3hp + a 2500watt inverter. Error message after a few minutes and the inverter got fried! I'm thinking these just aren't heavy duty enough.
can you safely daisy chain the more battery's together?
Just to be clear once the power resumes from the grid, the pump will revert back to it. Correct?
