Woodturning Awesome Easter Special Project That Sells

Welcome to the Woodturning Easter Special! Today's project on the late is a beautiful chunk of Beech with some very nice color variation that we will turn into what I will call a Dinosaur Egg. This Woodturning Project is a great beginner project as well as an item that sells very easily! Eggs can be made in a multitude of sizes, this one I just decided to go really big. The finished egg measures a bit over 6 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall without sitting on a stand. This project that sells was finished using Bees Oil and applied while the lathe was running to help melt the wax into the and once dried its buffed with a clean shop towel to a brilliant shine.
