Here is a quick and simple process of changing the dead 2032 battery in your liftmaster garage door opener! This process is the exact same for many garage door openers that look similar to the one I'm showcasing in the video. Hope you found the video helpful!

Thank you! For NOT having an hour presentaton❤
No problem. Take it easy
Thank you very much for keeping it simple and to the point. No time was wasted ❤.
No problem 😊
I was afraid of breaking the cover while trying to open it until I watched you quick simple well filmed video. Many thanks and also I loved your tip to use the visor clip
Glad it helped
using the visor clip to open the opener was a great tip. I always used a screwdriver and almost broke the cover. thanks for this!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for keeping it simple.
You're welcome!
Many many thanks for this. An old lady was able to “fix” her garage door opener!
Excellent! Nice work
This worked perfectly and was super easy to follow. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
I like the part where the clip just snapped yours open. I have a Mighty Mule opener for the farm gate, and the plastic just sheared out of the way like playdough. Been wresting it for 10 minutes now and it's just getting worse, so I filed it back down and switched to a spudger and a jeweler's flathead.
You made replacing the battery so simple. Thanks so much!
Glad I could help!
EXACTLY what we needed help with. THANK YOU!!!
No problem 😁
How do we replace the battery on the Door Opener that is inside the garage attached to the wall? Its beeping for me and saying low battery.
Thank you for the clear, step by step video🙏 Took me only 30 seconds or so seconds to change the battery after watching your video😍
Glad it helped
still works in 2024
glad it helped!
Thanks! I could not figure it out before your video.😊
Glad you could get it sorted out!
Despite how easy this looks, I find it extremely difficult to pry the remote open. It just won't budge and my hands are tired out.
to @ CathArtistry yes that clamshell sticks really tight. Takes a good bit of prying to open. One thing to note, which may help, soon as you get it cracked open the least little bit, only then does it become evident that the top part fits like a lid over the bottom part. So what you'll want to do is pry firmly, yet gently as possible the top part outward and upward. There are four little clips (2 near either end) of the long side and one on each short side. If I were going to do this again, I'd aim first for the center of the long part, (exactly where Key Fob Rob attacked at 0:25) endeavoring to pry the lid out and off. Once you get it started the least little bit in one place then imo, you'd want to move your pry tool a bit in either direction, should pop open! The author simply chose to go all one direction clockwise, and that did seem to work alright, although my preference would be try to get the one lower long side cracked open before prying at the short sides. Good luck, hope this helps, and if you're already into yours then for the next person.
@@markbaker1843 Thank you so much, Mark. I finally used a screwdriver instead of the clip that attaches to the unit. That made a big difference. Still have to work carefully to pry it open all around, but the small flathead screwdriver did the trick. ;
Thanks a bunch:

I'm having hard time taking off the battery
Thank you for the detailed explanation on how to open up the remote garage door opener case. All the other videos didn't show that procedure.
Glad it helped

Thanks for posting. Thought this was way to get into it, but those halves stuck together so tight, was concerned I'd break something, or there was some additional trick involved. Also kudos to the manufacturer, for making the quality material plastic which lasted 25 years without shattering to smithereens when you went to open the unit.
Thanks for your video. Very helpful.
