Great video as always Chris.Dave at D&J must be well chuffed that he has you to call on as you will always go that extra mile to serve your clients.Keep the content coming as its a real pleasure watching you at work.Top man.👍
Thanks Kevin, I tried mate, hate a job like that when it’s so simple fix in the end 🤦♂️👍
You can jumpstart the grinder batteries with a good battery to get them to charge .
Don’t do it for more than a couple minutes at a time because the struggle gets real.
Thanks mate I’ll give it a go 👍
@@Professional-struggler plenty videos on UA-cam let me know how it goes
@@chox2001 I will mate got about 5 to try so hopefully save a few! 👍
Great video Chris, Good to see you been helping D&J out with their issues. You also got beat by a 5 amp fuse lol. Keep up the good work 👍
😂😆 cheers for reminding me mate 🤦♂️😂
I think Dave is about to stick on the pay roll you are nearly full time there 😂 love it
😂😆 poor Dave! He’s had a shocker mate
@@Professional-struggler
Just a wee tip replace the fuel cells in the batteries rather than buy new ones .. costs 1/4 of the price 😉😉👍👍🇬🇧🌈🇬🇧
@@Professional-struggler
For the hand crank grease barrel … take off the handle and attach a battery gun 😉😉
Morning Chris……., bloodyhell, what an arse of a place to put a fuse, had similar on my oil boiler in the house, bloody thing was hidden, always a bloody fuse……aargh. , I see you found the “ Kickstarter” on Dave’s dog, my JRT has got one as well…..lol. Nice bit of struggling done this week…..woop woop 👍💪🇮🇲
Evening Andy! They put it there to make me look silly mate 🤦♂️! 😂😂😂Dave’s dog funny mate
now that was a struggle how many times has a fuse caught us out on jobs . but you got there in the end and a chip BARM for your tea 👍
They hid that one well 😆👍
10 mins until we see the D&J video and watch this all over again 😂😂
In West Yorkshire they are called oven bottom cakes or flat cakes, today ones are tea cakes, then theres current tea cakes.
Didn’t know there where so many different names for a chip cob mate… it’s interesting
Great diagnosis Chris, ref lack of power , but hidden fuse was your nemesis, on this occasion 😀 😉 .
Yep, self-employed is great, no more boss, just twenty of them. Lol.
Thanks for sharing and have a great week 😀
for filling gearboxes I have an old fire extinguisher that I have welded an airline fitting into and also has a small pressure regulator set to 50psi, fill the extinguisher with oil and connect the air..easy..
That’s a cracking idea mate… it is a nightmare filling them up!
Great video Chris that's the first thing I've seen you couldn't do however as you say we are always learning and if you come across it again then you're the man MFI.Stay safe matey
Cheers Stephen, beat by a fuse mate 🤦♂️ every-days a school day 👍
Hi Chris, not sure if it will be the same issue as you're having with your batteries. But a lad I work with has a milwaulkee gun and the battery was completely dead, wouldn't register on charger. He hooked it up to another battery for 30 seconds, basically jump started it and then it charged perfectly!
Great videos, keep it up!
The makita batteries have a memory if completely dead and won’t charge you can jumpstart them from another battery then it should charge 😂
Cheers Steve 👍
Instead of cracking a pipe off you hand wind the relief valve in and lower any crane that way
My snap on gun battery is the same I put it on trickle charger for an hour then wack it back in the proper charger and it seems to charge
I’ll give them a go mate thank you 👍
That makes us look c#$€s dont it,😂😂😂😂😂😂 love it stay safe.
It does though mate 😂😂😂
Brilliant video I've one of those oil dispenser think it's older than me and I'm 60 no monkey metal anywhere on it. Keep up the good work 👍
Yeah back when stuff was built to last mate 👍
Roll n chips lol in Scotland lol . Happy Sunday mate :)
It’s called a chip butty
Living the dream 👍😎🤣 until the fuse went in your number plate 😲😆
😂😆 bloody fuses are to fault with everything
chip barm..........steak and kidney pudding is a babbies yed in wigan ......great video by the way.
You can try charging them batteries with a car charger, just to get them to take a charge again
Thanks Danny I’ll give it a go mate 👍
Chip butty in sunny Yorkshire!!
regarding batteries try putting power into them, via another cordless battery as they need above 6v in them before the charger will reconise it and charge. plenty of UA-cams on subject. I knackered a brand new ferrox battery in a angle grinder when it tripped out and i forgot to switch it off, not knowing it would still keep drawing power out of battery till it was f**k*d completley
Hi Chris every day is a school day mate 😂
That it is mate
Up here in Scotland (Glasgow) we call that a Roll n Chips 😉😉
👌👍
Great stuff 👍
Awesome video again 👏 👌 👍
Chris! It was a fuse in the fuse box🤓
Date night with Dave, it couldn’t get any better🤣
That old gear oil pump, built to last(a bite like you) struggles but works🤣
Great video.
SHALOM 🔥
😂😂Where was you the other night mate 😆 I’ll make sure I’ll check that😆 cheers warren
@@Professional-struggler That’s why you hung the job out just to get some grub🤣 you know where the fuse was all the time(because your a professional). 😁

Brilliant
ITS A MUFFIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome video thanks struggler you made me laugh 😄😄🛠️🔧🤑💰🇬🇧

Chris that forklift has the wrong category forks on pal . Should be class A forks .they are class B .probably caused the top roller failure . Worked on forklifts fir 32 year mate .shout if your stuck
Thanks Kevin often need a bit of advice mate it’s much appreciated 👍
Top man Chris never a dull moment I couldn't stop laughing with you and dave having a dinner date ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
It was romantic mate ❤️😂😆
Chris, wouldn't you find easier making your own snap for work as it must cost you a fair bit each week
Normally just get a meal deal mate £3 drink sandwich and sweet, not bad value
Hi chris,so first of all it's a chip bap 💯 😁so if you couldn't get the crane down but then next day it was in the yard down did the engineer go out to fix it and then follow him back to the yard then,so hopefully if it was the shovel drivers fault does that company pay for you and palfinder to fix it then I wonder, lucky you stop when you did otherwise you'd have needed a new number plate aswell🙈have a great sunday woo woo🤙👌👍
Chris said in the video that they loosened a pipe to get crane arm down, and your truly correct, it is a chip bap. 👍
Yeah I cracked a pipe of mate! Couldn’t do anything else was beat by that hidden fuse 🤦♂️😁👍
@@Jason-br1zjah OK must have missed that bit about the pipe atleast you were listening 🤣👍others will disagree but yes bap😁👍
It’s a chip muffin 😂
😂😆 different mate

It’s a chip bap Dave

Chip butty
Chip barm
Very confusing
😂😆
Baps
It's a chip barm Chris get over it
its a batch !
Another cracking video Chris. We've all fallen for the hidden fuse ploy haven't we. At one time things like that crane would have had the circuit diagram printed on the inside of the lid to aid fault finding, today the manufacturers don't do that, so they can charge the extortionate call outs to fix em. By the way its a chip butty up here in Yorkshire.
Yeah I’ve noticed that on modern lorry’s to missing the diagram on the other side of the cover mate! So the dealer gets the job
We see it in refrig and air con, the diagrams are in a folder, or on a cd or men stick in someone’s desk drawer. Really handy 😞
yes lad , waited for this HAPPY SUNDAY ......
Chip barm
Your videos are just the best 😂
Thanks Wayne🤠
Great struggle video . Chip butty all day long from doncaster 👍👌
What better way to start a Sunday than with a new video from the No1 youtuber, then followed with touring cars, by the way its called a chip bap. 🤣🤣👊, fair play chris, you don't see many mechanics roaming round on there backs inspecting trucks, enjoy wats left of the weekend.
Cheers Jason hope you had a good weekend pal 👍
I've just started six months of chemotherapy struggler, recently found your channel and I know nothing about lorries but it's been a massive help watching. All the best to you and your family.
Good luck with the chemotherapy 🤞
Good luck Adam. Been there got the tee shirt. We do win mucka 👍👍👍
Cheers mate! You best be an expert by now Adam 😂😂👍
Brilliant video thank you 😎😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks mate 👍👍👍
Chip butty
nice content and dj projects channel is as awsome as your channel
There a good bunch of lads mate, thanks Paul 👍
Great video Chris. And don’t worry, we have all fallen at some point to a hidden fuse. Especially when it’s equipment your not familiar with 👍
Cheers Barry….. so annoying though mate 🤦♂️👍
It’s a chip butty!!!
Defo a chip butty
Great Struggle Chris !Love the Music Mate ,Dave at D&J Nice Bloke ,and Loves Struggle !👍👍😂😂
Thanks mate! Yeah Dave’s a really nice bloke mate, and down to earth 👍
Chip butty food for the Gods.Trev Barnsley South Yorkshire England 🏴🇯🇲😄.
😂😆
The whole world knows it’s a chip roll 👍
Chip Teacake
Chip butty in Sheffield and on its own it's a bread cake
Chip Bap !!
Well done for being persistent in finding that fuse buddy 👌
Fantastic as always mate well done and stay safe. 👍🍺😂
Thanks Garry 👍
Yeah I suppose cranes operate as modern tall cherry pickers which wont perform functions in certain parameters and angles and lock out when overloads due to pressure sensors in the rams angle sensors etc. and need an electronic brain and a computer to read the stored data
product knowledge and operator knowledge and consult operator and workshop manual
I thought you would have just cracked a hydraulic pipe off before it got dark.
The temptation of using a fused live direct to board sometimes ain’t the risk Ring out the dealer and enjoy chip butties
An expensive day at the coalface. Whom is at fault ? Bucket operator. ? Or hand shovel operator ?
Yeah there’s safety stuff all over it mate! As you said I might of done more damage by over riding the thing! Dave was protruding mad with that shovel 😂😆
It would be a chip butty, down South, Chris you are very funny 😁 👍
Oh mate there’s a million names for it 😅 cheers Andy 👍
Tis a chip bap duck
😁👍
Dave regardless of whatever is always chipper and positive....very much like yourself Chris although I could hear the frustration in your voice not finding the power fault .....the amount of wires in those boxes ....
It's a *Chip Bap* in these parts although they used to do a scooped out little chewy loaf and filled them with chips which was a *Chip Cob*..
There is nothing worse than seeing the fuse when you've searched for it for hours and someone comes along and just says "it's in the box"...possibly the struggler needs an illuminated magnifying glass ?
I can imagine the money that buried 5w fuse has made palfinger over the years! 😉😉. Those forklift bearing struggles were truly knackered weren't they although it must gets some use that.
Evening Gary, yeah mate that was annoying and as you said when you know where it is it’s right there in front of you 🤦♂️ sickening mate, them bearings are at the first stage so take all the weight, thanks Gary have a good week mate 👍
It's a chip barm all day long. I bet daves glad he's got you on speed dial to share his supper with. Two grafters eating by the moonlight❤️
❤️😂😆
Chip barms and cobs, the only time I hear that is when I'm on secondment at East Midlands Airport....it's a chip butty guys 😂😂
well in Chris - Cheeky little fuse lol
🤦♂️🤣
Roll and chips 🙈😂👌🏻
We never stop learning do we Chris , usually don’t get the same fault again though 😂
Yeah by the time I come across it again I’d of forgot Mike 😆👍
The older you get Chris you more you get “I’ve come across this before and I still can remember how to fix it “ I’m 65 , love your channel make me cry laughing , all the best from Spain 🇪🇸 woo woo
Love seeing your videos cross over! Clever getting crane down
Cheers Jerry 👍
Fuses are pain in the arse. When they hide the fucking things. Love it Chris cause you say it as it is like all of us fitters. Spot bro 🤣
😂😆 cheers Stu! It’s like they purposely hide them to make us look silly mate 😂😆 keep on struggling pal 👍
Chip batch All day!!
Top video as always
Thanks Patrick mate 👍👍
The fuse struggle it's madness they shouldn't be hidden away great video Chris
Boggers hide them away to make me look silly mate 😂😆
Great video Chris that fuse made me laugh what a bastard of a thing 😂😂the fuse struggle
I know mate 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I say chip roll chris but but because it was Leicestershire they say chip cob.
Another brilliant episode , keep the videos coming Chris
Cheers Andy
Thanks Andy 👍
Sorry Dave… it’s a teacake…… obviously a Yorkshire thing🤣🤣
Another great video Chris, i do sympathies with you as a now retired commercial vehicle mechanic mate, nothing worse than spending hours out in the cold and rain chasing a fault !, then some one comes alone and sorts it in seconds !! lol been there mate !! keep up the good work !!.
In Yorkshire it's a teacake Mr Struggler 👍
😆👌👍
Was in Asda carpark other night fetching beer, nachos and dip about 8pm. Young lad had locked scooter up to nothing by back wheel and forgot take it off so I tried pull it back out by hand another struggler of the spanners bought his out so exhaust, wheel came off to get lock off. I did my shop, we was there thirty minutes trying get back wheel back on until I stood back 🤔 unlocked the brake cable and wheel went straight on, it's the simple things that get you.
Was pleased to see the Chinese are using copper crush washers for the exhaust manifold though. I'd of thought they would have used sparrows nest material 💪
Cob
I agree mate 🤣👍
I have revived old cordless 18v cordless batteries when they wouldn't take a charge by putting 36v into them for about 10 seconds i got the 36v by joining 3 x 12v car batteries together in series, it seems to just add enough power into them to fool the smart charger to start charging them up.
