ME (myalgic encephalopathy or encephalomyelitis) also referred to as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is a complex multisystem disease with a wide range of disabling symptoms.
ME/CFS is estimated to affect around 0.2-0.4% of the population (c.265,000 people in the UK) - including children and adolescents.
