- Halloween is right around the corner, and you know what that means...COSTUME TIME! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so I take my costumes very seriously. This year I wanted to test out 3 of the most popular costumes for 2017 which are Belle, Wonder Woman and a ghost. In this video, I compare a cheap version and expensive version of each costume.

Don't want to be mean but not all kids are born into a rich family. I actually never bought a Halloween costume. All of mine were homemade. And a ghost as a sheet isn't bad. I went as that once. We cut eye holes in an old sheet, threw an Afro wig on my head and put a makeshift sign around my neck that said that 70s' ghost.

This isn't really a cheap vs. expensive Halloween costumes ...it's more like Halloween costumes vs. cosplay.

hurricane334 This video is comparing Halloween costumes that are intended for once a year use to costumes closer to what a semi serious cosplayer would purchase to wear to several cons/photoshoots. I make my own costumes and there is a big difference in the intended uses. A Halloween costume for myself is something I put less effort into and often use lower quality materials to keep it a lot more affordable. When I'm making a cosplay I chose the most accurate, good quality materials I can (within budget) because I want it to look accurate and last through many, many wearings. Same concept shown in the video - low budget, low quality, intended for one time use (Halloween) costumes vs higher budget, high quality, intended for multi use (cosplay) costumes. It's not a video comparing cheap eBay Halloween costumes to something like Target Halloween costumes like I expected it to be.
hurricane334 As for your comment about cosplays themselves. I agree that cosplay is about having fun and sharing love for fandoms. Anyone who wants to cosplay should, no matter age, weight, race, budget, etc and it doesn't matter how much time or money is spent on the costume, it is still a cosplay and it rocks. But the expensive costumes shown in this video are definitely marketed toward cosplayers/performers and not typical dress up only for Halloween people.

Yeah I completely agree with you guys. Not everyone can afford a $400 Halloween costume, especially when $40 is a lot for me. And yah, I've seen almost all of Brooklyn and Bailey's vids and they do stick more to things we can all afford. I've seen all of their cheap diy Halloween costume videos too and it's a lot more accurate and helpful towards what people could do. And I also really do agree that she was almost putting down the cheap costumes when that's all most of us can afford. I'm still subscribed because I honestly really do think Kamri is a good person and I love watching her videos. This was just a little off for her. It's still a good video don't get me wrong, it's just not for everybody.

Bushcraft Baxter if they hurt use dental wax I had them for about 4 months now so good luck with them!
I used to have them, and now I got them off but Im getting them again in like 3 weeks lol
You've probably noticed the pain for the first few days. It continues for about a week, maybe less, depending. If you feel any poking of wires or brackets, just use a piece of the wax they give you and stick it onto the poking wire or the bracket. You'll find that you don't really need to use wax much at all after that first week or so, but you may need to when you get your braces tightened every six weeks. When they do that, essentially all they're doing is removing the existing wire and bands on the brackets but keeping the brackets, letting you go brush and floss, and then you come back and you get to choose new colors for the bands and it feels much tighter. The first few times will make you want to rip your teeth out, but it gets better. You may also need to get rubber bands later on in the time that you have braces. They're basically just little rubber bands that you put on the little hooks that you may have noticed on a few of your brackets, and they help with jaw alignment. If you feel any major pain, painkillers are your best bet. Try to stay away from hard or crunchy foods, eat softer things like soup, macaroni and cheese, pasta, and ice cream. Yeah, the great thing about it is that you basically have permission to eat a whole bunch of ice cream. Braces are a pain, trust me, but when you get them off, you'll feel so much better about yourself. Good luck :)
I know I'm not Kamri but I have some advice for you. I have had braces twice and I know from experience do whetever your dentist tells you to do! I was supposed to have my braces off in April but I didn't do what my dentist told my to do so I am currently still wearing them. And if your teeth are hurting take ibuprofen and relax for a while and maybe if you can watch your favorite show or movie to get your mind off the pain. I hope this helps you a bit.☺
Bushcraft Baxter the doctor probably said not to have gum but I used to have them and I still had gum and I didn't do anything to it, and the wire may keep breaking and it may be hard to chew but just go back to the doctors and they will fix it and the best part about braces is that there is so many different pretty colors to choose from!👄😁
