My guess on why it took so long is that it's because the company didn't want fans to be divided between members and also out of the preference of the boys themselves? I think their schedules didn't allow them to think of creating public IGs and it is only now that they've had their second break in 8 years (first holiday break since debut) that they decided to open public accounts. It's funny because ARMYs were crying over the break and how we'll miss the boys, and then the announcement came 😆 Also yes, we should all absolutely watch out for Taehyung's thirst traps. 9:20 WALESKA IS ME 🤣
