Rocking this since 1993. I can’t believe it’s been on my top 3 albums of all time for such long time. I love this album. I’ve spend dozens of hours just understanding the cover art. It was with me through toughest times and will always be.
Prog Rock is awesome (Camel, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Yes, Pink Floyd, Rush, Saga, Supertramp, Gentle Giant, ELP, Vander Graaf Generator, etc.) but Pendragon is one of the best Neo Prog Rock Bands ever...! I share this choice also with Marillion, IQ, Shadow Gallery, Ayreon, Glass Hammer, Pallas and others born from the 80's.
+ravagebang You got everyone there mentioned.....left out Eloy and Grobschnitt though...and to me, the greatest most underated prog band ever was IT BITES....no one ever heard of them right??? but you nailed the rest of the list. I produced the first 3 GH CDs but have to admit your list is pretty spot on. But you could add Odyssius, Finch and Triumvirat.....RDM from Italy and Arena..but then you go back to It Bites again. I also love The Enid....John Robert and Steven Stuart ROCK! Don't forget Mikey and Steve Hillage.....And if you're really into obscure, try Babylon -- Kingfish.
I grew up Lise I gotta to seventies prog.... it is in my blood, many prog people know this, just a bout all my dreams have It is too bad tha we will not be receiving any more music from Chris or Greg this very fact troubles me, I miss all my old prog people, especially, Roxi And Laura. Laura and I first noticed that old soul, Hogarth, long ago, Where are you, Laura? I miss you and I miss Chris and Jon................
