"making the game longer does not make it harder" its literally because you kept dying/falling
he finished it lower than the average playtime
True...but in fairness though, the camera and controls *are* very frustrating. The whole 2.5D perspective looks cool at first, but then your depth perception gets messed up because it makes it tricky to gauge how far into the foreground Six is. So, you end up running into doorposts or falling off pipes entirely when running from a scripted chase sequence.
I played on console and 3/4 of the way through the story, I just wasn't having fun anymore because of the unintuitive controls. It's a shame because the visual and sound design is very unique indeed.

I don't understand the plot, why did Six went cannibal and eat the nome, then the lady as well?
@@leejameson8419 SPOILERS: some believe that six is the lady. cause in the second game, its pretty much confirmed that its a time loop. mono (the boy) found six in the hunters home trapped, and they eventually escaped him, after many encounters with creepy monsters, they meet the thin man. he captures six, and mono goes to save her, on his way he encounters the thin man, kills him, and takes his reality warping powers to save six. When you see six again, she is a distorted monster, due to the thin man torturing her with his reality bending powers. After he defeats monster six, she turns back to normal, but the tower is starting to collapse and being consumed by this demon or creature kinda like the blob. So they start running, six makes it to safety, but mono was behind her and the bridge broke so he has to jump it. Six holds out her hand to save him, and she grabs his hand, after looking at his face for a moment, she lets go and lets him fall into the abyss while she leaves to safety. Mono survived the fall, and the blob creature dosent hurt him, he starts walking in the abyss only to find a chair. Mono, feeling betrayed and tired, he sits on the chair, then multiple time skips occur, him never leaving the chair. It goes from child to teenager, young adult, etc. And after the final time skip, its revealed that MONO is the thin man. He was basically the thin man but as a kid. And its safe to say mono hates six, cause the thin man obviously hated six. Its cause she let him fall to his supposed death on purpose, and the most likely reason for why she let him fall was CAUSE when the thin man was torturing her, she mustve saw the thin mans face, and when she looked at mono's face, it clicked in her brain: mono was the thin man. So she thought that if she let him die, then she would technically kill the thin man for torturing her the way he did. But it turns out that LETTING him die is what MADE the thin man.
And now onto six, the reason she has been hungry throughout the game is possibly due to being the lady, remember that the lady eats others souls, and has magic, remember that everytime six ate something, she became stronger, which would explain why on some occasions when she ate something alive, lights flickered, and when she ate the gnome the light broke, cause she was growing in power. after she ate the lady, she started eating the souls of the guests. And when she got out, that boat sound you hear could be another ship just like the one she was on, and on that boat she would grow and grow, until she became the lady, only for a six to come, kill her, and the cycle repeats.

Does he not realize the people who made INSIDE did not make this game? INSIDE was a near perfect game and this one took inspiration from it, must be why its not as good imo

I know im kinda late you might already know but short story: That woman you kill in the end is your mum who is really jealous and she wants to be the most beautiful creature on earth(she is ugly af though) so to do that she breaks all the mirrors in the place and leaves only 1 (idk why). So this place is where she is luring really rich people and once they get it they are cursed to be hungry forever that's why everyone is fat AF.

The story is the little girl in the raincoat is named six. She is trapped in a boat named the maw. A place where they trap, kill, and eat the visitors and the children. The lady is the one in charge of the maw and she powers the ship with her powers. She wants to be beautiful, but she is cursed, every mirror she sees will show her true self, ugly. She wants to take essence from the young to make herself pretty and alive.
