Having survived a terrible abusive childhood I cried watching this story wishing I had the love this beautiful family have to offer this little man he is so fortunate.
I grew up in foster care, I was moved around a lot and I mean a lot 37 homes. I had a black foster family, they had so much love for me and showed me that I was worth saving. I loved them so much. Thank you for making this young man a part of your family. The love he shows his parents tells it all
The whole time the parents are talking I’m watching the child’s reactions he’s so settled and looks comfy with his parents, fiddling with his mothers sleeves and leaning into his dad’s chest. Beautiful family. I wish them well
I LOVE this loving couple! This is true love when a couple doesn’t care what race a child is when bringing them into their home!! This touches my heart so deeply! I know what you're saying but coming from Canada this is really hard to hear because we don't care so much about your skin colour because we are all part of the "human race" one may be a striped tiger and one may be a white albino tiger but they are still a tiger.
Thanks for this video. As you can see from my profile, we are a mixed couple. We have three mixed children. Then the Lord brought us a black child via private adoption. Then the Lord called us to be foster parents. We’ve had 19 kids through our doors since then, but three have stayed and become ours forever. Two of them are white and one is white/Mexican. So our family really is a rainbow of colors. It confuses people to see this black mom with two blond children. Some people get upset because there are so many black kids in the system that it makes them sad to see a black person take white children in. But fostering has never been about color for us. When the phone rings and DHS says they need me, I pray and say yes if the Lord says yes. I never ask what color the child is. I take in who God has brought me.
Everybody wants everyone else to stop making things about race, & those same people don’t realize how much they themselves make things about race. Not saying there aren’t inequities & injustice that needs to be addressed & healed, but underneath that on an individual basis we are literally all related if you go back far enough. Our literal relation at a cellular level with one another precedes the existence of race- & that’s before you even bother getting into spiritual beliefs! Sending love to you & your family. @@DezaRay24 I want to tell you something people are so fast to blame Jesus Christ for human actions do not blame him because another human being harmed or killed another human we have free will; ( don't get me wrong yes I understand I don't know why he allow certain things to happen and don't intervene in certain situations when he can but from the outside looking in) it is horrible when a little boy dies but if you are focused on the spiritual realm then you will know there's a third heaven and that child is fine no more crying no more pain.. ( his ways are higher than our ways his thoughts are higher than our thoughts the human mind cannot even understand space how can you understand Jesus Christ in his ways??? I used to question as well why did he allow me to go through certain things in my life but now I come to realize those things brought me to him and made me stronger as a person

That's the way God work if we will listen,he is Loved and you can see it, there are so many children in the system and they don't look like us but need a loving home. There is no need for international adoption when we have so many in need of a forever home.
