Sorry for the late upload, everyone! :) This vlog shows a week of me back on Cardiology with Dr. Rasania (did an interview w/ him on my channel if you haven't seen it yet --linked in description). I also had a nasty GI illness, got my graduation cap/gown, and show you some beauty hacks I do.
I also show off my terrible vocals at the end of the vlog, so be sure to stay until the end LOL.

OH RACHEL!!! I am a senior in HS and I am debating wether or not I want to start this treacherous journey into pre-med and medical school. Long story short I got into a very serious MCV and fractured C 5, 6, and 7 in my spine (I'm fine and have almost full mobility back in my body) and being in the hospital it opened my eyes to a field of work that makes me feel fulfilled in a way I can't even describe and put into words. All I wanted to do was switch places with the doctors and nurses because I find it so fascinating. Some of the people in my life are like "Mila are you really going to go to medical school and become a doctor", but I know I could do it. I have been watching you since like freshman year because I used some of your videos for motivation because I thought if Rach can do it and study for 4 hours at a time I can definitely too. Even you sharing videos about 1st or 2nd year of medical school fascinated me and gave me hope because of course this is going to be hard, but PUT IN THE WORK and you will end up living the life of your dreams helping people. I got butterflies in my stomach seeing your cap and gown and am very happy and proud of you. Just know your channel made a new female future doctor! (maybe in obgyn too ;)) I would love to see a chill video summarizing your journey!

Medicine has drastically changed over last few years. Spending years (probably 3-7) in residency, fellowship is draining mentally, physically, emotionally so be prepared to kiss your 20's goodbye. Then matching with your specialty is gruling. Rachel is super smart and can pick whichever she wants. Dont let her life mimic yours for goals, aspirations. Oh, I'm a anesthesiologist who now only works per diem and working on finance.
:) currently studying for my third year exam this January! Thank you for always being my motivation buddy when I need it the most! I wish I was half as hard working as you are!!

Panera is actually my go-to when I'm sick; the chicken noodle soup, bread, and peppermint tea helps so much.
Edit: Also, Zofran is /amazing/. Too bad it can be difficult to get sometimes.

I remember you speaking about how you do your lashes awhile ago! You got me hooked on doing them myself and I haven't stopped since. I splurged and got Lashify, their bonds and sealers are seriously amazing! The lashes they have are very light on the eyes and not as stiff as the drug store lashes. They're expensive but so worth it for the quality!

Omg I had the stomach flu in October and it took me out for an entire month. I also have celiac disease so my GI system is already fucked but yeah... not fun! I'm amazed you were able to go to work the next day.

I didn't know med school in the US takes 4 years. in Iran it takes 7 years but we don't have residency years after that. hope you finish it soon, cool and in the way you want :)

I cant even pass my school comp exam. My point is youre good. Dont forget the stress you felt in your 2 year of medicine
